Burns is always dangerous, but his last season was way better than his this season.

Burns had a great season. But you make a good point there.

Can't begin to understand how Benny only recorded 19 votes in the first 9 games? While Burns managed to record 301 votes!

While all the focus is on our grand final on Sunday, Archie Thompson, Nathan Coe, Lawrence Thomas and Daniel Georgeievski remain unsigned for next season.

Archie, according to the Herald Sun, has offers from another A League club. As well as a Malaysian club and a second division Japanese club.
 
The mind games are hotting up.

After Arnie claimed at Sydney's awards ceremony he "won't give Victory credit for winning this competition" because of the injuries FC has suffered. Gui responded last night saying Arnie's comments "hold no water because FC bought 3 players in" during the January transfer window.

Mind on the job boys. Leave the sideshow to Arnie.

id be happy for archie to stay with us OR go overseas.

I dono, I would think Archie would be better off finishing his career here, rather than risking going to a different club, barely playing, and not having the fan support he gets here

i know. i want him to finish with us. but if hes got offers o/s and needs $ to support his family i wont stand in his way. if he goes to another club i will boo him

Depends who he goes to. If it's shitty then I'll be angry. If he went to a Newcastle or CCM then who cares. :p

It would be almost unimaginable for Archie to play a season at another A League club at this stage, and a terrible way for him to go out.

Comes down to whether the club see enough value in him as a super-sub next season or not. His 11 goals this season present a reasonable argument.

Would personally like to see him go out on a high with a fairy-tale premiership finale.
