Can anyone see any logic as to why Polec is Interchange From? Any chance that he won't be in the final squad or will be the sub?

Don't stress, he won't be sub or dropped. We generally start with quality players on the bench and that's mainly from depth of midfield. Last week I think we started with Hartlett, Ebert and Cassisi on the pine. Also subs can be chosen from on the ground, most often they aren't though.

Any thoughts on Paul Stewart? Does he have mad skills and good job security? Cheers :)

Don't know if you'd class him as having 'mad skills', he's a solid player who probably doesn't have the best JS going around. Wouldn't average over 80 even if he played the whole year anyway.

Stewart was only in as Hartlett and Carlile had the flu. He may not be dropped but could be the sub if he keeps his spot. It also depends what game you are playing. He often scores better in SC (107 this week) than fantasy(81).

But I would not recommend a punt on him, too many variables and an unreliable scorer.

Where has Cam O'Shea disappeared to this year?

He was an integral part of my squad in an Ultimate Footy keeper league and has barely been on the park this year - even when he has, he seems a bit down...

Yeah I was close to getting him too. Had a bit of an injury and now just can't break back into the squad. None of the defenders have really put a foot wrong, closest would be Pittard but Hinkley loves him, so hard to see O'Shea cracking the side anytime soon.

Not the best JS. Will be dropped as soon as he only has an OK game, as there are plenty of others in the SANFL in ripping form.
I'm also thinking about Kane Mitchell in my SC team. Only $240K and scored 114 SC points from memory against the Dockers. I know his JS is an issue but surely he continues to get a game if he plays like this. He can run all day as well and we know he can find the ball. Very tempted...

potential sub risk though, i think c.beams would be a better and safer pick and saves 60k.

With Beams and Morabito coming through in next few weeks there are safer options that may score better.

He's simply not going to score that well again. He'll always be a big vest candidate, and even when he plays full games it's far more likely he'll be scoring around the 70/80 mark. I can't see him getting a run of 5 consecutive games which is the minimum you need to take advantage of price rises.

Even then, why are you bringing in a $240k player? He's not going to make more cash than a true rookie, and he won't score near premium price so you should just avoid him.

Hi Port fans. Well done on your teams form this year.
Robbie Gray: wondering about his role this season? Is he mostly playing fwd with stints in the midfield, or mostly mid then rests fwd? In looking at a team trade in SC but wondering whether he can keep up his ave around 105? If he's playing midfield I'm sure he can. But if playing mostly fwd I doubt he will.
Thanks.
Ps: do u want Chaplin back? :/

He's playing a Dalhaus like role in which he moves up the ground quite a lot for a forward flanker. He does attend quite a number of center bounces so thats why he's been getting a lot of it. But he's a forward with stints in the midfield. I think he should maintain an average of 95-100 easily. Could go 105 at the end of the year as he tends to get a lot of contested footy and is a good user.

Biggest mistake ever not starting with Gary Ablett in Supercoach, it pretty much ruined my year in nearly every league as I've lost by small margins due to captain Gaz scoring 300+ weekly.

I'm doing ok in DT & Fantasy but SC is pretty much a write off even though my team is finally looking decent, can't believe how bad I'm doing when my scores aren't all that bad.

Does anybody else find it pretty incredible in AFL fantasy Port does not have a player in the top 60 for average this year, Broadbent is the highest with 70. I hope Hartlett will get DEF/MID eligibility again, probably wont as he is spending plenty of time in the mid.

How's Kane Mitchell's job security over the coming month?

Probably in the bottom 4 for JS in the current squad. Has taken his chance well enough so far, but is still a week to week proposition.
If Newton has a great game this week, I can see Mitchell being dropped for Boak next week.

Loving Robbie Gray's form this year. Got him in my side very early and he's been pumping out huge scores like his 140 on the weekend. Very happy with Ollie's 120 as well. Too bad those Crows players are under-performing!!! Not to name any Jaensch (38 pts).
Got Lobbe as well? Jarman Impey is starting to return value in the fantasy codes too with 117 in SC and 90 in RDT. Gray and Lobbe were good for me. Wines not so much as I only have fantasy and RDT and his score was 85. Don't know if Jaensch has been injured, Dangerfield got Crowley and he should return at least a tolerable score this week.
