Blues have 19 nowGWS are hot for Petracca and the benefit for Saints is they get top 4 and get a tall and a mid at 6.
We can get Laverde at 7 I feel so 5 isn't that big a deal if we get another early crack at 19.
Bit harsh. I'm sure they wouldn't have minded getting Moore and keeping Griffen.Wonder if they should have a rule where if you use a pick to bid and it fails you shouldn't be able to trade it.
Or would that be too harsh.
Yeah I mentioned something similar in another thread, but I don't see the need for the Saints to be involved? We could just swap 5+30 for 7+19
edit: just realised GWS no longer has 19, the blues have.
Blues have 19 now
Yeah I made the same mistake, too many pick swaps to keep up with... GWS have also committed their pick 24 to an academy player.D'oh!
It's good for us, can't see them doing it.Maybe approach GC for 8+15 for 5+30.
I thought he was just saying there was a few types available at that pick. It's good for us, can't see them doing it.
I think Hine would want 5 just in the off chance a club ahead of us does something crazy and a "top4" slides , in saying that it seems that may be Wright who I'm not keen on.
When he was on trade radio the first player type he mentioned when quizzed on pick 5 was a tall utility type, sounds like Laverde?

Of course it may not mean anything, it was just that was the first type he brought up when quizzed over a tall or a mid.I thought he was just saying there was a few types available at that pick.
Wouldn't expect him to give anything away, especially after the way the Dogs jumped on Bontempelli last year when they heard we were hot for him.
They would have to throw in pick 67 to get it over the line.Apparently James Aish wants out; ready to tell Lions he won't be signing a new contract.
Reckon we could get him with pick 5?

Ae you taking the pee? That would be glorious if he wanted to go back home.Apparently James Aish wants out; ready to tell Lions he won't be signing a new contract.

We have pics 5, 9, 30 & 48.Is that right we can only have 2 live selections in the draft? Is there still time for players to be delisted?

So only 5 & 30 with Moore already on board.We have pics 5, 9, 30 & 48.
However if we upgrade Frost then we only have 5, 9 & 30.
Hence we must upgrade pick 30 somehow.
Reckon I might have an account suspension in the future of it does eventuate!Ahh the classic 7 point play, score a behind and then score from the opposition turnover from the kickout.
The behind being the Beams deal, the turnover and goal being landing Aish.
Obviously just a rumour but the hilarity if Aish does end up leaving the club after all this would be too much for me.
I hope he requests a trade to Collingwood and we offer them pick 30 just to shit them, but if it happened he would likely request a trade to Adelaide for pick 10 + a late pick for steak knives.I actually wouldn't put it pass Brisbane to do something like that. Do the Beams trade then all of a sudden Aish wants to leave. Hope it's false obviously.
