If Cleveland gets the #1 pick in 2015, it would be madness to pass on Hundley or Mariota in favour of Manziel.
No doubt Haslam will get itchy feet again, wanting to fire another entire coaching staff and GM. So the new regime will draft their own hand-picked QB.

Texans should've drafted first available qb in the 2nd. Carr. Or....trade up into bottom of first and snag Bridgewater. They really stuffed up there.

Texans rested on their laurels in regards to Bridgewater, i thought we had him. Kudos to the vikings for the smarts they showed. Would love to have been a fly on the wall in the texans room when the vikings trade came through

The plural name of a female body part surely would've been bellowed in unison.

Then the Browns could just trade Manzel to the Cowboys for a first and second.

Irsay copped 6 weeks and half a million dollar fine.

Absolute BS when compared to what Brent getting 10 weeks for something much worse....

It's pretty harsh for an owner. The guy who pays Rogers salary. Also first time offense.
How can an owner be fined and suspended when he is not an employee of the NFL? Seems a little ridiculous.

Dishonoring the shield....Goodells favorite phrase. Owners are like slave traders. Hypocrisy they don't hold themselves to the same stringent rules they enforce on their slaves.

Meh, I don't really care about Irsay being suspended; he DID drive under the influence, so he can't exactly protest any subsequent sanctions. In saying that though, him being under the influence caused him to be driving at the whopping speed of 10 MPH, not exactly putting anyone in danger except for himself for being in that state of mind.

Ah well, not a huge deal, I'll take it.

Not allowed to access the team or the facilities.
Yet he owns the team and the facilities.
Don't know how you can own something but be restricted to it.

I imagine that there would be provisions in the NFL's agreement with each team about applying discipline to non-players.

But an employee shouldn't be allowed to discipline his boss. It just seems so bizarre to myself. The other owners might discipline him, but not Goddell.
Probably did the Colts a favour
If Irsay wants to trade his first away again, he should be allowed to.

A positive test and you get 4 weeks. In the AFL no hard evidence and you get kicked out of the finals, lose draft picks and 2 years of shite.

Bit different when it's systematic club-organized doping versus per player, not to mention WADA signatories versus not.
