I can't see Carlton passing on Francis if he is there at our pick.

I wouldn't bank on Moore doing much. Was pretty terrible at Port.

Probably, but he was starved at opportunities at Port due to their midfield strength so could improve at a new club. Is a low risk as only cost the last pick in the draft and a one year contract.

Honestly why do Crows supporters think that Francis will be available for them at #9? He is unlikely to be available at #8 and Carlton would be crazy to pass on him.

A bit of wishful thinking but I'd most of us are to clinging on to Twomey, Anderson and Quayle saying that there is a chance he could slide to our pick 9.

Clubs will be aware of the fact both McKays would rather forge different paths so if Blues grab one, the other will be somewhere else. This holds true for balance, too i.e. 2 x 200cm players in the same draft is arguably top heavy. Burton/Curnow on the other hand fit given their potential for midfield.

Why on Earth would we select Collins with our only live pick when we now have Goddard and Carlisle for CHB and FB? We'll almost certainly be using that pick on a "pure mid".

I've got Saints going with a midfielder at their first - correct me if I'm wrong. Mathieson or even Gresham may suit - even Dunkley may appeal.

Apparently Wiederman could be considered a top 2 pick according to Callum Towmey if Carlton take Schache at 1 he doesn't think Brisbane would take Wietering at 2 due to the go home factor I would have thought we would go Parish/Francis if that happens

Funny - same thing happens every year. If Gresh was 5cm taller, he's be a consensus top 5 pick. Players have proven time and time again that height doesn't really matter - just look at Sam Mitchell, Rioli, Lewy Taylor even.

Yeah I mean he's the same size as Montagna and sounds like he a lot of similar attributes and if we got another Montagna with our first rounder this year I'd take it and run!

I don't really have anything against him just that Oliver is more likely to stay a Lions player than Schache would being he supports us
