Melbourne openly admitted that they were going to take with pick 2 whichever of McCartin or Petracca we didn't take at 1.Has completely transformed his body shape since the end of the 2014 TAC Cup season too, so I look forward to seeing him in a year or two's time, once he's built his tank up to the required level and has another preseason or two under his belt.

Does anyone know what has happened to the Lions pick 42? I would have thought we needed it for Academy players Hipwood and Keays why have the AFL taken it off us?

5 list spots and 6 picks. 42 is your 6th pick, which you still get the points from it just doesn't show up in the final order.

Stupid question but what time does the draft start? The AFL website is going out of its way to be as confusing as possible i.e. 5.30pm Darwin time...why wouldn't it be listed in Adelaide's time?
It's Australian central time, same as Darwin.
It's in Adelaide so it starts at 5.30pm, 24th November, 1995

Among others but he is an option. Surely another genuine mid could be an option too.
And yet you'd prefer Oliver to Shache? Ha go figure.
We are crying out for a small forward.
A big mid would be nice and we were going to take Oliver but his stocks keep rising. Hence why DFA Moore for a year in the end.
As for KPD, I'm not against Collins but we ended up keeping Astbury and signed Elton to the end of 2017. Not to mention Collins won't be partnering Rance next year.
Rioli or Ah Chee might not play next year but they fill a hole on our list in which we literally having no one coming through.

Sure did read them. The fact you've put stars in front of midfielders, alludes to you thinking we have enough.(big dollars or otherwise)
You don't think the club has enquired about key forwards with with rewarding contracts? You'd be naive to think not. You cannot force players to come to our club.
Don't get me wrong, each to their own, but the fact we have a stand out key forward who's more than willing to head north, and you'd prefer others(Oliver) makes me scratch my head.
And fwiw, wasn't arguing, just an observation.
