Port missing out on the 8 in 2015 is about as likely as Josh Lyman voting for Jeff Haffley as President. It's just not happening.

If we're going to miss the eight, it will be because we have a catastrophic season full of injuries, not because people "work us out" like as if what we do is some secret. It also means that we'd be guaranteed another top ten draft pick plus get a cruisey draw in 2016 that we can take full advantage of.

Believe me, you want us to make top six.

1. Hawthorn - They still look the goods and bat deep when injuries hit. Threepeat is on the cards.
2. North - Delusional? Maybe, but considering where we finished it looks to be a soft draw.
3. Port - That run and carry will go deep into the finals.
4. Gold Coast - Rodney Eade, Malcheski and a fit GAJ will see them on the rise.
5. Sydney - Will be thereabouts, loss of Malcheski will hurt an average defence imo.
6. Fremantle - It is now or never, best talent is 1 year older
7. Collingwood - Surely their injury curse will not hit two years running.
8. Brisbane - Scary midfield, not so sure about their KPP
9. Geelong - Mini-rebuild will see them slide.
10. Richmond - Same side as last year, don't think they have improved their list enough.
11. Adelaide - Over reliance on Sloane and Dangerfield. Could suprise though
12. Essendon - Loss of Ryder will be felt, and the administrative shambles will linger.
13. West Coast - Very average mid-field and loss of Cox will limit their penetration.
14. Carlton - Judd should have retired, loss of Waite will actually hurt
15. Bulldogs - New coach, good kids, will take time to gell.
16. GWS - Too much talent to stay down forever.
17. Melbourne - Will improve, a bit.
18. St Kilda - The long rebuild continues, will miss Hayes.

LOL, I was just seeing if I could get you to say it again. Amazing thoughts though. Do they have unicorns and magic dragons where you live?

No need to get all intelligent with me, reason i told you to have a read because I burn negative energy repeating myself over and over again

I gave in-delth reasons to why I believe Port might miss out on finals along with the evidence to back it up, along with other teams in my ladder prediction

Yes, I can quite understand that you would have difficulties with this sort of thing.

The Port missing out on finals discussion is over, done, finished

Let's wait til say Round 5, if they are having the start im predicting then we can continue discussion or if having better start can re-evaluate their position

But it's done for now, as I said it's burning energy and I'm kinda over talking about it

Wait, someone actually said Port will miss the 8?

Not every club has an attack like Hawthorns. Wasn't that average defence ranked 1 this year ? Hawk's forward set up is exceptional and can make any defence look ordinary when it is complimented by a midfield running rampant. Pop Gun attacks like we faced in the prelim this year will be again dealt with accordingly in 2015 you can count on it.

Time will tell.

I was at the GF as a neutral observer, Malcheski was the only reason you were in the game as long as you were. He held your defence together.

BTW, nice gratuitous free hit on North.

Sydney's defense wasn't great grand final day however our mids absolutely demolished their mids. Their defense was under fire a lot of the time.

I too don't think their actual defense (back 6 or so) is the best in the comp but last year their whole team defense was the best (as the stats shows). When their team defense was down like in the granny, with their mids getting smashed then they will look second rate.

Any team that has their midfield soundly beaten like they were will have trouble competing as a back 6 under that much pressure.

Don't give in to 'em mate. Stand your ground! :D

Like your Forward line ? and backline ? Seriously Richmond should just give up now.
Neither can be that weak weve played finals 2 years in a row and beaten multiple grand finalists and top 8 sides in that time.

Stranger things have happened. FWIW I think they'll make the top 4 too but they were 14-8 this season. That's not the record of a team that's locked in the 8 before the season is played.

Is that the backline with all-Australian defender Alex Rance? Or the forward line with Golden Gloves Tyrone?
Seriously "Romancing your stones" ? and "Golden Rivet" Tyrone more like it, those 2 pansies scare the living hell out of me. If I walked into a room with those two I would clenching my cheeks real tight and shimmying out of the room with my back to the wall.

Go back to the bay mate. You fit in better over there.

We've beaten you twice in the last 2 seasons, both games being at the 'house of pain' or whatever they call it.
Whilst you might think you have the better team and we are crap, the facts of the argument suggest otherwise.
