Am hearing the have deals in place with SANFL, WAFL and just about every ammo league going for top ups.

Also from the same source who is an Essendon member and pretty hire up in his business that Essendon have been scrounging the marketplace desperate for sponsorship money for 'compensation'. Which to me sounds like a lot of worst case scenario planning. Given the rumours that Paul Little is about to step down i put more creibility to all of this.

What would this mean for the draft? Surely with majority of their team missing, it's all but certain they would finish bottom. Would hate to see them gifted pick #1 two years in a row as a result of their punishment.

I think the AFL would have to intervene, and give them an end of first round pick no matter where they finish. They cannot be seen to benefit from a punishment.

I like your thinking but I fear you are being a little optimistic (little = a lot)

Get ready for the AFL to create another shitstorm to deflect, I am glad the Talia rubbish has been dealt with already. The AFL will be looking to smash another club if that's WADA's ruling.

Keeps them in the news a little longer I suppose. I fear that this entire saga is still so far away from being finished.

The punishment is losing the players and finishing last. Getting the first pick is as a result of where that club finishes. Getting a priority pick i'd argue against, but not changing draft picks. Unless the pick is removed altogether as an AFL imposed club penalty, but they've already had their go at that.

I'm hearing that rumours abound in Melbourne that WADA about to smack down all 34. 2 years.

730 days of Christmas!

A big contract for Wines to leave now would be about $600-$700 in three years time if his career continues to rise clubs will offer him $1mil plus to go home, if he wants to maximise the $$$ from his career he would stay at Port for another 3 years.

But it looks like Port have had to get some money back off of Boak and Gray over the next 3 years by giving them a back loaded extra year, so Port's salary cap must be bursting at the seams for the next 3 years. They will struggle to keep their depth players who's contracts come up over that time.

It is not a rumour about Paul Little stepping down. That has been announced publicly that he was only staying around until the WADA thing finalised, then he would be stepping down.

As I pointed out to your mate, you do realise that video is meant for kids right? Do you laugh at colouring in books because they are too easy? Do you laugh at the wiggles for singing songs about pirates with feathers?
