Injury 2015 pre-season injury reports

Just to take this one small step further 12 is still a lot and I think the only reason we were allowed so many was because Essendon pulled out of last week's practice match. Generally speaking the AFL are hesitant to allow more than 6-8.
I'm pretty sure Rookies don't need permission to play so that leaves 9 AFL listed players. As noted in other posts, players like Goodyear and Maynard are not in contention for round 1 in the seniors and in addition, they are first year players so their loads will be managed. This allows Broomhead, Karnezis, Kennedy and De Goey to play and push their claims for selection. Hopefully a minimum of two from this group are selected for round 1 (after watching Sat nights performance or lack of).

Finally, it is a VFL practice match after all, so it would still be a requirement to have a reasonable amount of VFL listed players play and get some match fitness.

I what ways has the club not been open. Both Reid and Freeman were rumoured to be injured but it would appear are not. How can the club be more open about injuries that do not exist?

If this place wasn't full of halfwits that jump to conclusions over every minor incident then there wouldn't have been a problem in the first place.
In no way. Was just a comment, wish list. Okay?
Not sure you have seen me post any such conclusions.

I took it as a general comment rather than specific to these 2 players. The club have been less than open in the past. Either that or they are somewhat incompetent when they continually post 2-3 weeks for a player whose injuries sideline him for the season. The rumours may have been wrong on this occasion but what about next time?

Glad to have you back.
