Dermott is a first rate tool when it comes to anything St Kilda, it's well known in AFL circles.
Similarly, Leigh Matthews's criticism of Paddy's lack of a tank, 5 minutes before he runs the length of the field, takes a mark then runs back into the forward line to contest a pack mark.
What a moron.

In my opinion Leigh Matthews's criticisms are being overblown. IIRC he said that Paddy didn't have as good a tank as Johnathan Brown. If I said Paddy doesn't have a good a tank as Riewoldt mean that I'm bagging Paddy?

He's just a first year player, he shouldn't have as good a tank as these players (yet). Even if he doesn't develop a tank as good as them we are already seeing signs that he does/will have a decent one in the future and that he has other qualities.

I was actually thinking the other day that its good that Boyd, Daniher etc are getting so much attention atm because it means Paddy has less attention/pressure on him. Unfortunately is looks like I didn't "touch wood" quick enough.

I actually find these incredibly useful for attempting to improve my own game. Not that I am even close to AFL level, but seeing how effective blocking and zoning actually works makes you really start to think about the things you do even in 3rds level footy.
