I read somewhere (I think it was a Facebook supercoach page, but it was a quote) yesterday that Fyfe said he was going play a bit more forward this year. Anyone able to confirm or shed any light on it?

Apparently in an interview he said he was going to rest more forward this year rather then on the bench. Think it was on Doctor supercoach.
Just the usual that players and clubs say about their quality midfielders these days.

pendels fyfe beams danger neale cripps anderson vander.......em.....Yoelman Miller Krakouer...
Downgraded to Maric and Smith rucks.... Loaded mid premos def....

Really tossing up between Beams or downgrading to Boak or Griff and having spare cash for emergency

Surprised there's not much love for Boak. Will go 115+ IMO
Boak always chucks a 50 or 60 in there though, can get him for about 450k at some point in the season IMO.

Think I'm going to take a chance on Adams.....I know it's madness as his efficiency is shithouse but he should accumulate plenty of the ball this year and with Levi going down, he now becomes the Pies number 1 in and under.....that last game against the Dogs where they were smashed in the middle he still accumulated 32 possies and 99 SC points....only looking at it as a stepping stone to a fallen Gaz.....what are people's thougts or more to the point hit me with your feedback as to why I shouldn't lol

If ur after a downgrade player you will get more value with Mitch or Rich IMO.

Think Boak is a gun but to me it seems like he doesn't put in as much against the lesser sides, which seems odd.
Crap scores against GWS (65) Melbourne (69) and started of very ordinarily too with a 58, 83 and 88 before going bang with a 157.

Assumed he copped the Crowley tag also as over 3 games against freo last year he averaged 81.

If you do pick him just have him as captain when they play the Tiges and there's a easy 300 points...

NO Crowley First Up !!!!!

How important is it to pick premiums based on bye rounds?
Deciding out of Selwood and Fyfe. Really like Fyfe better, think he has higher ceiling and Selwood tends to drop in price at some stage. But my other midfield premiums are 3 having a bye in round 12, and 1 in round 13. Not sure if I can bring myself to having 4 premium mids with the same bye round. However might end up turning Ablett into Fyfe as not sure on how Ablett will start the season. Thoughts?

if you really want them it shouldn't matter, because we have 3 trades in the byes
save your money and make a double (or triple if you're loaded $$$$$$$$$) upgrade after round 11 bye
Sloane/Danger, Beams/Rocky, Mitchell/Lewis, Macrae, Cotchin, etc

Yea I'm in the same position, have Fyfe & Pendles, weighing up Sloane V JPK. If I go with JPK that will give me 3 in R12, Gaz will no doubt be one of my first upgrades as well, so I'm starting to think that having 4 guys on the same line having the same bye round as a little bit foolish.

Yeah I meant to have that as a positive from now on, (hoping Crowley gets off, love the bloke) just worded it very poorly.

I'm just gonna ignore the other comment

Starting with 5 promo mid 3 with round 12 and 2 with round 13. Didn't plan it that way, was just how the five I wanted lined up. Plan on trying to bring in a couple more mid premos with the round 11 bye in round 12 (Rocky, Sloane, etc) to mitigate the damage of the following weeks.

****ing dog bloke, most unsportsmanlike afl player ever. Can GAGF! Piss off Crabbley, you blight!

Hate when he plays against the Tiges, but I'm with TheOz on this one. He's doing a role for his team, and he does it bloody well.

Anyone looking at Jack Steven? 455k

I feel with Montagnas injury a lot of focus will be on stopping jack Stevens influence upon a game. Can see him hitting 530-550k but if your looking at him as a stepping stone player Id personally say dont. Can't see him hitting 530-550k till end of season.

So can't see him hitting a 105 average? His 2013 season had him primed for a massive turnaround, but I agree with you regarding the saints side, it's a massive concern for me

Edit: If it were him or A.Swallow who would you rather?

I think 105 would be his max if everything worked for him. Yeah love the guy and was more considering having Montagna over him.
Personally I'm going the WC Selwood over him as will get more cash an can be considered as a stepping stone player or maybe M8 keeper.
But if I had too choose between swallow and Stevens It'd prob depend on strategy, eg. I'd pick Stevens for a stepping stone player as I see him making more cash than swallow.
But I like swallow as he can easily be an M8 keeper averaging 105-110 (maybe)
So it depends on what your after I guess :)
