Are Player contract standardised with DATE? There is a difference between out of contract in October before the Trade Period and in October after the Trade Period.
Anyone know the answer to this question?

Why would we give up Lycett & Sinclair in the one go? Geez the Herald Scum are idiots..
Because east coast rags play subterfuge like nobody when it comes to the Eagles.

It is a form of conditioning that they hope will weaken the club but if unsuccessful they still get the viewership reeled in so win win for them.

We must play hard ball, Sinclair is ripe for trade should he request it and same goes for Paddy, College, Tunbridge.

We are on the prescipice of success, lets act like it.

We should be trading Sinclair while his value is high. He is older than Lycett and is not a better ruckmen. We are more than covered for fwds with Gov being a full time swing man next year, McInnes and potentially Lamb.

I'd rather trade neither for Jetta, but if we want him i don't see the logic of trading Lycett over Sinclair.

No way we trade Lycett. We wouldn't have signed him on a four year deal, if we thought he'd be trade bait, even after a disspointing year with form issues and injury.

Unless of course it's a straight swap for Minson, then by all means, get it done!!!

This Minson talk is actually making me laugh out loud (or lol for short)
Whoever came up with it has a very imaginative mind... good work!

Have i missed something?

Minson for Lycett?.....wouldnt we prefer to keep Lycett?

Sinclair imo should be traded while his value is high, a pick for next year draft? and work with what we have now for Redden/Jetta.

Disappointed we're going to miss out on Bennell, if freo get him for a 2nd rounder that is a BARGAIN

I heard Minson has enrolled his kids at Wembley Primary School.

Will Minson and Adam Simpson were in the closet making babies and I saw one of the babies and the baby looked at me!

I have recently come to the conclusion that I'm not keen on Jetta unless he's free (ish) apart from the soft on field flat track playing style I'm not keen on getting speared at the game every weekend. We dodged a bullet last year with some trades and ended up with guns. This draft might be weaker but who says our first two picks won't unearth guns? Just because we are contenders doesn't mean we have to go for older average players. For example who says we can't get a lachie Neil typ deal with say a pick 40ish (he was 56 or something).

Anyways it's just my opinion as I like to stay relatively young and get sustained success. I think natural progression can bring us this success

By the way does anyone think picket could be an option? Didn't really get games this year but I have the feeling he still got a contract extension beyond the minimum 2 years? Would prefer someone like that as he's young and would not waste too much cap space
