I couldn't see us letting Shoey go, especially if Hale is gone. We've struggled this year for marking tall forwards and with those two gone we're probably knackered for depth, unless Sicily, O'brien or Shem have a sudden acceleration during preseason.

Spangher could play a Shoey role or we could have an eye on a mature aged type from the state leagues. But I doubt Shoey will be let loose unless the offer is significantly weighted in our favour. I think he's still improving, isn't he?

What is good from JOR this year is that he's relatively injury free. Unlike in previous years. Now he can build on it and have a big preseason. Get some size and compete in the midfield for us.

The prospect of JOR, Aish, Anderson being in the midfield with Langford, Shiels, Hill and Howe makes our future look promising.

Here's hoping Anderson gets better... he can be anything.

Until only recently, I lived near Moggs Creek, and after Adelaide, it'd be like returning to paradise.

The next question to ask would be: Who did he barrack for as a kid?
My bride still works with his uncle, so can find out.
Though in those parts it too is likely to be the Rats.

That was Howes worst game of the year, are you sure you didn't get them mixed up? JOR had 25 touches and 7 marks, he was mammoth on the weekend. The guy played 2 games in the ones averaged 17 touches and went at 82% DE, that is high end elite. This was JOR's first season injury free, whilst we don't know if he will be elite at AFL level I would think we will at the least get another Liam Shiels.
