I have heard no mention of us being linked with Treloar. Just Bennell and vaguely Dangerfield. The media have been hot on Treloar going to Pies the whole time until recently there is now talk about Richmond. The implication is that he has nominated Collingwood as his preferred destination. Some of these clubs like Geelong, Richmond and Collingwood are pillaging talent right in front of our eyes.

You're right I still think it is distasteful ... i don't like where this is heading to be honest .. soon we will have blokes saying in round 1 that im leaving and clubs saying we want him... if it gets to this .. just have a mid season transfer window and be done with it ..

Very true. Bad look for a club to explicitly state they want a player only to have that player either choose to stay or go to a different club. Makes the club look inept and undesirable.

Geelong lost a lot of shine when Frawley turned his back on them to come to Hawthorn.

Maybe the day will come when managers list their charges on e-bay at the start of the season, and final bids are due when trade period starts.

On a related note it would be good if alias accounts weren't just tagged as alias' but said who they belonged to. If that's possible to implement. These ones have been fairly obvious but across all of Big Footy it's hard to know and keep track.
