Thanks! I understand why the decisions need to be arbitrary with no discussion. However, it's handy to know the reason why a post is removed without sanction for future reference. I'm still quite puzzled still why mine - which was unrelated to this matter - was deleted.

Think we've been spoiled here as OTP likes to see conversations flow and if things start to go askew he usually intercedes with a posted warning. Come back OTP.:)

I went back a few pages and can't find the post. Any idea which page? If a post gets reported we action it as required otherwise I'd be pretty similar.

Back to the footy. Surely the Old Geelong ressies coach will be sacked with no finals, isn't ressies flags the ultimate for OG

An oldy but a goody.
They will certainly have to lift their game in 2016. C Grade ressies will be tough!

Now onto the final home and away round. A couple of interesting fixtures this week but looks like a tipster's nightmare given the relegation places have been filled and the top 4 decided. Only mathematically could 2 and 3 swap places and I can't see that happening even if Kew lost.

NOBSP vs OM's - pride and 7th place to play for out at Brunswick for these two sides. NOBSP have been having a tough run of it in the second half of the year (1 win in 8 weeks) and I can't see them getting over the Panthers. OM's too strong for my team last week and expect to see them account for NOBSP by 40 points. On what I've seen this year I'd be pencilling NOBSP in as favourites for the relegation zone next season.

Ormond vs PA - with top spot guaranteed the Monders will have one eye on the 2nd Semi but will still account for PA. PA have had a great second half of the year and will give Ormond a solid workout but the Monders will get home by 27 points.

SMS vs Oggers - both teams will be looking to gain an edge before the 1st Semi Final but who knows which way this game will go. I'm tipping SMS this week by 14 points with the result to be reversed the following week.

BT vs YV - both relegated and about the only certainty for this match is you won't hear supporters from either side yelling out "Good luck in D2 next year". I'm tipping a win for BT this week by 17 points.

Friars vs Kew - Whilst the young Friars have had an improved second half of the season they haven't been able to trouble any of the top 3 other than in patches. Up against a Kew team with an eye on the finals the Friars will need to be at their best to have any chance. Given I'm not in the tipping comp anyway, I'll back the Friars by 8 points.

What a disgraceful performance from both Bulleen and Kew.

Pull your heads in or get out of our great league.

An inquiry is due to be held at Como Park after training tomorrow night. The full committee & power brokers have been summonsed to attend. My inside sources suggest that the club & supporters are seething with senior coach & the questions as to why a bunch of senior footballers weren't dropped to the reserves to qualify them for finals, will be the first item, on what will be a large agenda. The ressies coach, apparently did all he could, and even cited precedence such as 2013 & beyond, but to no avail. Mark my words. Heads will roll.

All we need is 'Monder Man' to chime in and we have a chorus comprising a trio - or would that still be a duo? :p

Perhaps the powers-that-be at the OGGS reckon the ones flag is easier picking this year. :D

Wouldn't surprise me if the umpires didn't fill out correct paperwork after the game.
My take on it is that it was unobserved incident - umpires didn't see it. Hence, it goes to investigation and why the player isn't formally reported (and now wont be) and the investigation panel will hand down the sentence.

Any truth to the rumour that because this has had so much media scrutiny, the over riding mantra at HQ will be about "Fallout minimisation". Protect the brand at all costs. That fact that "6 Ammo staff" are fast tracked to give evidence tomorrow night is very prompt work. It will be very interesting to see the end result. Will justice prevail? Will they go down the path of "it takes two to tango" and wrist slaps all round?

They would be the umps you'd think so you'd expect them to be front and centre.

As a Kew local I have taken my two young boys to Vic Park a number of times this year. Standard of footy has been great, and the games played in great spirit. I'm particular, the game between Kew and Ormond was exactly what I think ammos footy is about - two teams cracking in hard for the ball, but with the ball always the objective.

I am so thankful I decided not to take my boys to see the game last weekend. I remember being horrified as a 7 or 8 year old seeing two blokes have a fight on the tram after a VFL game and it stuck with me for years. My two boys seeing the sort of stuff that took place on Saturday would have been similar, and I think I would have struggled to get them interested in attending local footy for a while.

Ammos footy is a great option for me for a day out with my boys. No entry fee, reasonably priced hot dogs of varying quality, tough but fair football and no pissed spectators carrying on. The association must take a hard line on what happened on Saturday, and must be open and transparent in the process.

Intresting match between oggs and St Mary's, will one team throw a curve ball to try and hide what they have coming for finals week one?
