Pendlebury has control over the ball by his hands, this kicking style reminds me of Kane Cornes and how held it and styles like that make it hard to kick through the ball and keep it low to leading targets

Pendlebury is an accurate kick, but because he has a higher ball drop he doesn't kick the ball with much penetration.
To really nail a flat low pass at a target you need make contact with the ball lower down in the ball drop, the lower the ball is at the point of impact the flatter the footy's trajectory should be.

So Anisworth Brodie Scrimshaw SPS and Taranto all around the mark for pick 5, but who do we think we could realalisticly be getting at our 2nd and 3rd pick ?
Would love one of Dylan Clarke Shai Bolton or Will Hayward, with our 2nd.
Hard to know who will still be available at pick 48, Pat Kerr Cedric Cox and Jonty Sharenberg all possibilities.

Think you could be right. With Picks 4, 6, 8 and 10 they can address multiple needs and will probably base their picks on who other clubs in between would take. I reckon it may go:

1. Essendon - McLuggage
2. GWS - McGrath
3. Brisbane - Petrevski-Seton
4. Gold Coast - Brodie
5. Gold Coast - Bowes (match Carlton bid)
6. Carlton - Taranto
7. Fremantle - English
8. Gold Coast - Scrimshaw
9. Sydney - Marshall
10. Gold Coast - Ainsworth

Brisbane have grunt but lack class. Reckon SPS is the best option for them.

GC will take Brodie first if they don't have to use 4 on Bowes, because he's the only gun inside mid in the top 10. They'll have options for outside types with later picks.

Feel would be silly not to take the local boy in English, unless SPS slides to 7. Sydney will go a tall forward I suspect, as they'll need to set up a post Buddy/Tippett forward line for when they retire or get pushed out (to shed salary space).

I'm happy not to bid on Bowes. That would push us to pick 6. Pick 6 has been cursed by an old gypsy! Stick with 5

One whose prospects i kinda like is Myles Poholke. He seems like he could be a good component of a side to me.

He's the one i would like at our 3rd at this stage. Should be a chance to be around at that pick.

The extent of my draftee watching extends only to two, maybe three players, one of whom is Cedric Cox.
Whenever I have watched him (which is only a couple of times) he has been a game breaker.
If people think he's potentially around at 48, he's a bloke with tricks who seemed to me to have some improvement in him yet to come.
Oh and I think his name's pretty cool ;)

Every day I wake up with a different 'lock in' for pick 5. At least it fills me with confidence that we'll pick up a very good player at that pick.
Today I well and truly boarded the Scrimshaw though. Dunno what it is but something screams 'star' about this guy.

Bought a burnt copy of Jack Reacher at a local market recently. Got it home & started watching it. Turns out it was Jack Reacheround..........not was I was expecting!
