Push to 60....

I think to push for 60000 is going to be a struggle.
I'm realistically thinking 55000 is more achievable.
A lot is going to depend on how we fare on the field in the first few rounds.
If we struggle, it will only deter people from signing up IMO
Play well and who knows really.

Buying a membership is about being a part of the club, getting behind the club, and potentially attending games, so we really only have to sell 'being a part of the club'. It doesn't have to be finals aspirations - it could just be getting behind us in our time of need, as we build up the skills and experience of our youth, and develop a team that will be successful in a couple of years (according to our five year plan anyway). A good salesman can sell ice to eskimos, and I don't think its quite so difficult as that!

I'd be curious to see last years' membership numbers graphed with different events marked on it so you can see that it spiked after a win or after the tribunal verdict or the WADA appeal or whatever.

I knew it.

They are starting their reunion world tour in Perth apparently. Good as any other backwater joint to blow the cobwebs out I guess.

I'm living in a horror world where Boy George has taken back some ancillary degree of relevance by being a judge on The Voice. The UK have no idea how to handle celebrities at all, they just don't have a "discard" button.
