Footy Classified is just a sensationalist version of the better footy shows , if Wilson was young they would probably have her in low cut tops. Id have thought if any player is best 22 , there would be a strong chance of him stay..if he is happy location money etc. The ones who may miss games would be more contentious id have thought be far less a juicy headline.

I think we have addressed our defensive stocks and we will be selecting a young bloke, Harrison Macreadie, who is rated as the best KPD in the draft this year. He is 195cms so with him, Davis, Corr, Marchbank our defensive stocks look great.
If you were going to have a series crack at one of the suspended Essendon players it would be Heppell. That guy is a clearance king and a superstar but he would cost more then we have.
At the moment, until Mummy or Shaw get too old and retire I can't see us being very active with free agents. We just have too much pressure on our TPP trying to keep the list together.

To be fair though our tall defenders collectively are extremely young. If we want to make finals and win finals now we need a more mature defence.
If we want to keep players like Shiel we need to play finals this year or next year. I think our defence - age wise - will peak in about 3 years.

By the way, based on the little footage I have seen of him, I would include Jeremy Finlayson in that group... He looks very promising so far. In a couple more years it could be Davis, Marchbank and Finlayson as our tall defenders.
