Richmond will probably bring in their experienced players. I think the game against North Melbourne will be what our Round 1 line-up may look like.

Gunston and Rioli hopefully back in the team this week.

For those of you going, I'm reliably informed parking is going to be a bunfight. To make matters worse, I think the Bewick show is on about 500m down the road. It might be easier for those driving to find a park in Beacy and walk to the ground. That's my plan anyways.

Why was Zac Webster out against Carlton? Seems strange to make a player go all the way and travel with the team only to be left out at the last minute. I hope the club gives him a run this time.
Yep, been confirmed he tore a quad muscle prior to the game.
I spoke to him and Cyril on Friday night and Zac told he he did it 2 minutes into the warm up and will be having scans early in the week.

Poor kid had 30 family and mates up in Launny ready to watch him make his debut.

Guess it'll take some time to get the #36 out of his system...

Can't we just give it to Spang??? He would do it proud
Good idea. Spang could curse the curse. At least he wouldn't spend any more time off field than he already does.

Burgoyne has rated him as the best young performer on the track this pre-season.

Apparently experienced some tightness in his quad before the game. Has a tear been confirmed.

It just doesn't happen Cryptor. In its history, not one player who has worn the #36 has gone on to reach any heights at the club. They have either succumbed to injury (G Boyer, T Boyle, M Bailey etc), gone on to forge great careers at other clubs (G Ablett snr, B Scott, J Kennedy) or shamed themselves publicly (R Nixon, A Demetriou).

The club should just look at the data and stop giving the number out.

Am hoping this is our chance to get out annual beating at the hands of richmond out of the way.

Then we can beat them during the season proper.
Nah its about time that we banished the "Tiger hoodoo" just like we banished the "Cat curse".

At least Bailey got out with a flag I guess.
