Id be happy with those 4 ins, cant get any worse with those players...but we cant throw Mayfair at them to get these players.

Obviously kersten can walk to us im pretty sure. Mccarthy has had a year off(3rd rounder will do), hill is an inconsistent wingman in a great team.( 2nd rn or a player)...and hamling (whos he ?)

Good additions who should come cheap. We will not give a 1st for hill thats absolute hogwash.

So we potentially have trades involving

Out:
Barlow
Mayne (FA)
Langdon
Clarke (FA)
Deboer (FA)
Ballas (Contracted)
Suban (Contracted)
Silvagni
Hannath

IN:
McCarthy (contracted)
B.Hill (contracted)
Kersten
Hamling
Stanley???

Unlikely in 2016:
Hogan
Lobb

Geez imagine how many moves we will be linked to in the next month. I'm sure we will have even more surprises........

I think freo will link with many players , but only end up with Cam Mac.

Yeah idk reckon we can use our psd pick but other than mccarthy im not overly fussed. B.hill will be a good addition but only at a good price. Remember that fyfe was a pick 20 and shuey roughly ( and tom swift lol. Geez i miss him in derbys). This year looks good in that second round bracket. Hopefully we can complete all the trade outs and load up on picks in the top 50

The Hamling link is strange. I said last year that we should consider him as a delisted free agent last year. If we didn't then why would we now.

Dawes for Clarke?? None are world beaters but Melbourne could do with another ruck and Freo are always wanting tall forwards. Wouldn't be on much money either

Yeah, something like that. That's par for us (and most clubs really) in the off season. Plus the only players with any legitimate links to us (i.e. not just rumour mill BS or wishful thinking) is McCarthy and Hill. Hill may happen too, but it's going to take some work.

Same with players that we will use in trades. The only noise that has some legitimacy to it is Mayne and Barlow. The rest are rumours getting way more legs than they deserve (e.g. Balla) or wishful thinking by some posters (e.g. Suban).

Having said that, long way to go yet, so things could change.

How about u take Clarke as a FA and pay him well so we get pick 22 just like we did for Sylvia where u got 23 and traded for Vince.

then we can get Hill easily

sad thing is since pav is gone, Dawes would be our most experienced Tall Forward.

I am in the minority and wouldnt mind getting him if I know freo will quickly go up the ladder next season.

We should start up our own media outlet pumping out articles on every out of contract, or close to, player from WA.

As well as any out of contract player that is tall.
Love the Hagdorn disclaimer. :thumbsu:

Hawthorn are desperate to offload Hill. No way do we have to fork out a first round pick for him... If that's the asking price best of luck to the 48%ers, they can keep him. If they are seriously trying to squeeze in Vickery, Mitchell and O'Meara they will let him go for unders. They have zero leverage in this one.

Crumpet face is off his dial. :drunk:
