There talls start clunking them like the Tigers did were in trouble
Will have to play a loose all game ( 3rd up )
Looks like if the ball hits the deck we are going to try and rebound quick going in small

If the midfield work hard defensively and not let them walk the ball out of the center this will not happen. If we apply Pressure around stoppages and Tippett continues his good form using his body against Goldstein their forward line could have 6 Tony Locketts in it and won't matter. Beat their midfield and we win. Simple. They have been great this season no doubt but imo attitude is the only thing that will lose this game. Respect them as a good team compete hard and don't waste opportunities going forward and we will be 4 points better off.

You're right, I know some on here have been predicting an easy win and I won't go quite that far but our midfield is better than theirs IMO and should get the job done if they bring the required effort.

Horse should be an expert on tall forward lines. It eventually becomes a liability as we found out.

Great (in a way) to see so many debutants this year. Fresh faces is always fun as long as you have the control over it (not like the Suns).

Should hold us in good stead going forward with a few more to share the load and know they will be picked if they put in the work and keep pressing.

As you said a few weeks back , we will win easy
Pretenders they are

I just keep reminding myself before each tough game... we were not even supposed to be in this position where we are playing in 'top of the ladder' clashes. Rather than a debutante coming in and damaging our structures, I look at it as a debutante coming in and preparing for legitimate rolls of the dice in 2017, 2018 etc. We're 7-2, with a very good chance of being 8-2 and having wins against top 8 sides like GWS, West Coast and Hawthorn... anything that comes from here on is a bonus.

(still ******** myself about North's talls though)

For a team in as a strong position as we are. To have played 6? Debutants is absolutely massive for us. Probably my favourite part of this year so far is seeing all the young fellas coming through. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside.
