Not a good night at all. 2/120 with Houli(55) and Howe(65). As a premo you would expect more from Houli, he has scores of 78, 68, 56 and 55 this year as well as 3 tons.

Houli seems go big or go home

Not sure what thread to post this. Looking at some players that have dropped large $$ this year (Murphy, Reddon, Lewis).

Murphy ($455k) had a few low scores in the middle {126,87,59,35,108,101}. Take out his lowest score, and he's averaging 103.

Anyone been watching WC games to know why the drop for Reddon ($402k}? Just not fitting into the WC game plan, or has is role changed?

J.Lewis up ($500) and down like a yo-yo. Hawks midfield getting smashed this year. After watching last night, im speculating that lewis has turned the corner and expecting more effort from him more often. Reckon he has bottomed out.

Lewis - 117
Birchall - 81

Thank you Sam Gray for being a spud and getting yourself dropped, otherwise I would've traded Lewis and I'd be venting right now.

198/2
Amazing how this game works sometimes

I had a luxury trade a few rounds back when most didnt

It meant me trading Gawn to Blicavz (after round 3). I was all over the 'Rucks' are dropping hype so went a midfielder then Blicavz started playing as a half forward argh.

Story: Gawn went 107,116, 146 in his next 3 to supersede Blicavs by 115~ points in the next 3 rounds.

I wouldnt have been trading Lewis though especially with no Hodge ect. Lewis is battling injury and he still doesnt look quite right even last night lucky he junked up hard.

I feel for those 23% with Houli. I think he will be played across half forward a bit more now with Richmonds season gone.

He is what he is, a yoyo. I bet on him developing consistency this year.

I reckon he wont be played out of position, but he wont be a player to target if you dont have him

Kerridge - :thumbsu:
Smith - average - got to 60 and you know a rookie is going to have down games.

Dangerfield and Duncan looking likely to ton up as well. Good start for me.

Think it's time to move Callum Mills on.

It was the right call to move Dea on with such a high B/E. Don't think anyone predicted this.

Yeah I caught a lucky break because I had Lee, Laird and Johannisen still in my backs, so basically had to trade at least one of them instead of Dea. Figured Dea would go down in score but still be better than a donut, didn't figure he might actually do this well.

Dea doing well after trading him out.. Campaigner

I had the same problem except it was McDonald-Tipunguwuti. My rucks of Gawn and Currie are doing well with 186 between them at 3/4 time but both Ablett and Hall are destroying any advantage I am getting from their efforts. Papley did OK for me with 89, Sidebottom just cleared the ton as my skip and Dangerfield contributed a solid 113. Too bad S.Mitchell was out just before the game, Hewett's score of 59 wasn't really what you want for a midfielder, especially when so many others are spudding it up.

Even though there have been some incredibly sub-par performances from my players in this round, it is still possible that I could squeak through with a score somewhere over 1800.

bit of luck this week was going to trade out dea and tippa but adams was out again so i kept both

looking at a good score this week after a couple of bad weeks
