Did you watch that mini documentary thing about Richmond coming close to folding and how it was the introduction of interstate clubs that gave you the money you needed to stay afloat?

So tell me how exactly you bankrolled the expansion of the AFL?

History? I'll take a short history with quick premierships over 100 years of mediocrity thanks. As for culture? Your biggest player hangs out with bikies and invites them into the change rooms, great culture.

Well the SANFL didn't become the national comp did it? The VFL became the national comp because we had all the money. Much like how Vic and NSW underwrite SA though the redistribution of taxation receipts to states like SA and Tas. You clowns can barely keep the lights on.

In the mid 1980s 8 of the 12 clubs were technically bankrupt. License fees from the West Coast Eagles and Adelaide Crows kept many unviable Victorian clubs afloat.
