Can someone please help me with something.

I'm a AFL Geelong member "priority 2"

My mum is a 3 game member "priority 3"
Is there a way I can put both our members barcodes in so I can try and get a seat next to her if we make the Grand Final that is.

Thanks in advance
Yes, during the Priority 3 window, but if you want to go, I wouldn't, I'll explain:

Priority 1 are the guaranteed GF memberships, as the AFL allows clubs to sell up to the minimum number of seats they'll give for club members for guaranteed seats. This number is around ~8000 (16000/2). Geelong could have sold less than this, we have no way of knowing. This leaves at least 9,500 seats for the Club to give the rest of its members. Geelong has more than 9,500 priority 2 members (given the fact that anyone with a reserved seat at KP is pretty much P1 or P2).

BUT you have to register for the ballot to be eligble. Some P1 might not register, leaving more for P2. After P1 has been given seats, and the P2 ballot has been drawn, the likelihood of there being any seats left is pretty much none. P3 will without doubt be standing room tickets, if there are any avaliable, and the chances that two of the ~50? tickets left go to you is extremely low.

Sucks, but you've pretty much got to chose between P2 and (potentially) going by yourself, or P3 and 99.99% chance of missing out.

I don't think so.

And someone feel free to correct me, but i don't think anyone in cat 3 will end up getting a ticket realistically. The ballot usually runs out in cat 2

Legend, thanks for clearing that up for me.

Check your email for a $300 offer from the Cats Convoy. Return bus fare, light snacks and water, Category 1 ticket to the Prelim etc.

Bookings close tomorrow.

$125 for the bus if you've already got a ticket to the game.

It's on the club website.

Just on that, no accommodation required. The bus leaves not long after the game.

I've actually just booked myself on the bus - for $125 it makes things easier.

Only frustrating thing is that I wish I got this email earlier, like over the weekend or this morning prior to buying my ticket this morning.

As I made the late decision this morning to road trip over on Friday, I bribed my mum with a ticket to the match so I had a driving partner - now that the bus option became available& as such I'm going over on my own, it means I now have a spare concession ticket for Friday night.

So from actually doing research... it appears a junior membership doesn't doesn't count as just a barcode, and they can only get a concession ticket.

Anyone have a spare barcode so i can try put in for 2 tickets since I've already teed up someone to hopefully go with... :(

EDIT: should have pointed out I am talking about GF ticket rego...

Also with these bus and ticket deals... sounds like the club has brought out entire bays of seats and is now trying to fill them. To make sure the Crows don't get too much overflow?

Not sure if it's much help to you but in 2007 my friend just walked through unquestioned with a concession ticket.

Got my tickets right next to the player's race for Friday night! There's no way I'm getting any work done this week.

Just curious are you sitting in section 131? The only reason I ask is I've never been to Adelaide Oval and am in section 131 which based on the map appears to be next to a player's race and wasn't sure if it was Geelong's or the Crows. Am also hoping that bay is filled with Geelong supporters...

MCG is lax on Concession. Had many mates with beards scan through on child tickets. You can also take the ticket to the counter and pay to upgrade to an adult ticket. They have no issues taking your money to do so. Don't stress, your kids barcode will get your mate into the gf.

edit: obviously pending on geelong getting into the gf, and you winning the ballot

Yes that will be the Geelong race. Non Crows and Power always use that race. Enjoy the game, the atmosphere is amazing at Adelaide Oval! I still cannot cheer for the Cats though, you know how it is :D

Hahn super dry not on sale in finals
Afl has control
Carlton draught :drunk::mad: (or west end tins)
Though, I did find a random bar which did iron jack. (Eastern stand, 500 level. About 538ish - I'm 90% sure in the home and away season it's a Hahn super dry express lane though)

I thought Richmond fans drank it all 2 weeks ago and any produced will be required Saturday

Teams are allocated alternating bays at Adelaide Oval for finals, and they get initially get the entirety of each bay locked to them by Ticketek - however it will only be full of Geelong supporters as much as they have bought them. Anything not bought by Geelong members went on sale to the general public this afternoon, so it will be a mix.
