Drew23 you're up bud.

Took Parfitt with 15. He's now the only Cat on my list. I feel like there's better fantasy prospects still in the draft but Parfitt has a high fantasy ceiling if he can get his kicking right.. I didn't make the pick lightly, I'm a bit harsher when evaluating Cats' players as I know we all have a tendency to overrrate guys from our own clubs on top of that I like draftees that look like they'll get early games and Geelong with Tuohy and Black coming in aren't exactly looking to play the kids.

Anyway, I had to take him now as he wouldn't have been there at 35. I've basically taken a forward and three mids which wasn't really the plan but am pretty happy with the haul. Wanted another forward and always in the market for a ruck but took a player I think will produce some big numbers down the track.

Damn Drew thought I was a sneaky chance on grabbing him later in was working my way back into the mid/late 20's to do so.

Obviously confident in him making it?

Faaaark Pez...

All that time and then you grab Marshall. I know the chances were slim but I was still hoping he would keep falling haha I had him well in my top 10!

Pick 12 - Oliver Florent
This was basically a best available pick. It was a pretty boring first round i'd say. The rest of you essentially took my top 11 picks, so i just went with no.12. Think he'll add a bit of speed to the Swans side. Hopefully will get some gametime in 17.

Pick 17 - Todd Marshall
I wanted to add another goalkicker to my list, and he is the best one in the draft. Doubt he'll get on the park anytime soon - but if he develops should get plenty of opportunity. I'll admit, i'm slightly swayed by his name - it really sounds like the name of a gun forward!

There's The General, and then there's The Marshall.

*** LIVE TRADE ALERT ***

LWP receives:
Adam Saad

Raiders receives:
Pick 24

L_W_P to confirm.

Confirmed.

Looking at my list composition I really needed another decent back for the future. I have Day out for a year, Gilbert is old, Hooker might not have B status next year...

Saad has performed very well and seems to be the kind of player that performs better in a better team. With the list the Suns are building I can only see him getting better as a reliable option out of defense.

Apologies for the wait!

Ridley is a great pick. Essendon have a very talented clutch of players around 190cms that can play all over the park now. Will be interesting to see how they put it together.

Will be interesting to see who richcogs takes. On the plus side for him Logue is still on the board and you'd imagine he'd be happy with him if he times out again? Could turn out to be one of the (unintentional) steals of the draft is he moves into the midfield and develops like Pav did.
