Reckon he improves his average a tad but no GWS, no Hawthorn midfielders for me.
Too much point sharing.

agree on GWS - not sold on Hawks from a SC point of view - the more i look at it the more i like TMitch

He's like Rocky, an absolute pig. If he can get 40 touches with JPK, Hanners and Parker next to him he should be getting 50+ with grandpa Hodge and Shiels the only competition. Oh and JOM from the grand stands.

Breaks one of my rules though.
No players at new clubs with unknown roles and averages.
The points could be there for the risk takers though.

I chose Treloar last year
I chose Danger last year

both 1st year at a new club

Coniglio anyone?

I'm tempted. But I can't see myself starting with any GWS or Sydney mids at this stage. I'll wait to see which ones take the reigns for their club then swoop.

I wasn't a big wrap for TMitch, thought he'd find it a lot harder without the Swans guns around him. But I'm starting to warm to him. Can either see him dropping back to a 100ish ave or crushing it and jumping to a 112+

Still hungover

Bloody Xmas parties

Someone bring me chips and gravy along with a large pizza, ham, salami, prawns, cheese, olives

Ouch, I feel ya. I was fortunate with my Christmas party on Friday. I was given a promo pack of a hangover tablets and I took about 3/4 of them over the course of the 12 plus hours I was drinking. At around 11pm I was rat faced maggoted and I got the call from my wife telling me our baby was driving her bat shit crazy and to get my arse home, just when I was on the dance floor of the Richmond Club Hotel surrounded by about half a dozen of my hottest coworkers :p.

I got home and went to bed at midnight in a dribbling, staggering mess feeling absolutely sure I'd spend the following day spewing my guts up but I actually pulled up fine the next day, I had a very slight headache and was tired but that was it.

There is just one problem - I can't remember the name of the product! It's called hydra-something but for the life of me I can't remember. My annual golf trip is next month and I'm going to need a massive stash of these to survive it.

History shows that players having their first year at a new club increase their output by a big margin more often than not.

TMitch is the perfect candidate. 4th string at Sydney to number 1 at Hawks. More responsibility, more points. One of the first picked for mine.

My only query on Judas Benedict Arnold is that for the first time in his AFL career he will get tagged. And heavily at that.

Pre the draft/trade period he was locked into my SC midfield but with Mitchell Snr, Lewis and Hill gone he is more or less their best full time mid.

He is a make or break player in 2017 though, no doubt. He'll either average 95 or 110.

The same argument was made about Ablett when he moved to Gold Coast.

Not having the Geelong guns around him didn't turn out to be much of a hindrance.

Agreed, but come on Gaz was on another level

What makes you think he will cop a heavy tag?

I liken him to Rocky and I can't remember the last time Rocky was tagged despite being #1 mid.

The tag will go to Isaac Smith.

Last year I started with Danger but only because I daw what he did in his last games with the Crows. Was fun watching everyone kill themselves to jump on.
Treloar worked out well for you but he was helped by Swan going down one hour into the season.
TMitch isn't a huge risk. Ill wait to see his pre season and ownership % before I really consider him.

Other than O'Meara (if he plays) , the Hawks next best full time mid is Liam Shiels. At times Hodge and Burgoyne will roll through there but as of now he is pretty much their No.1 midfielder.

He might not get tagged per se but he will certainly get a lot more attention, both when he has the ball and when he does not.

Tag or not with Hodge Hill and Lewis gone there's a big juicy SC pool of points for him to dip in. That's what makes him an interesting pick.
But I agree he will either average the same as he always has or he will go 115 for the year which makes him cheap.

I agree that the potential for him to have a big SC year is there. He has the game to do it.

I dont buy the heavily tagged scenario

Who tags?
North have someone (name escapes me)
Pies run Levi Greenwood occasionally
Lions have busted head Robinson

Not sure how many other clubs have a genuine shutdown player

Off the top of the noggin, not so much tag but more "run with"

Guthrie from Cats
Shiels from Hawks
TMitchell when at Swans, probably why he left TBH
Libba Jnr occasionally at Dogs
Viney/Vince at Dees

Tag is probably the wrong use of word but he will certainly get more time put into him by the opposition.

Scott Selwood, maybe used as such next year.

Who Knows?

not necessarily

Does anyone have stats that shows Rockliff SuperCoach points with beams in the team compared to without
112 with Beams that's with injury games not included and 1st week back from injury

over 2 years they have only played 6 full games together.
If my sums are right (bearing in mind that in rd 5 2015 Rocky got knocked out on 0 in the first quarter, I think, so probably 10 rather than 11?, and Rocky's average in those 10 comes to 94), I get:
upload_2016-12-19_7-58-58.png

Might have done something wrong with the formulas, but I think it's more than 6 games either way (2016 R7, 2015 R18, R16, R15, R4-9, R1?)
Apologies in advance if I got it wrong.

EDIT: Re-read Big Sauce's post more carefully, the 6 games are those where they were both 'right'. Sorry.
