I see that Cox is keen to play this weekend. Even though he's a young bloke and not cemented his place as an AFL player, I feel sorry if yet another Peel player misses the GF to fit him in. Especially as he hasn't played the last couple of qualifying finals.

A Peel player won't miss. A freo player wil as they are already at the 15 limit. Can't see anyone being dropped though.

I'm not sure if it's been mentioned here, but apparently Aaron Naughton has a broken thumb so it's very unlikely he'll be recalled for the GF. He wants to be in tip top shape for the combine testing.
This was mentioned on 91.3 Sport FM yesterday.

You must have heard Jacob on the drive show discussing this. I also heard one caller blasting Ross Lyon for not playing him during the finals and apparently he will be a top 3 pick.

True. But the AFL clubs begged to have reserves teams for a few years beforehand.

Kinda feel bad for the big man, but I think it's best for Cox and Darcy's development. Maybe, given he hasn't announced a retirement, he plays 1 more year as depth and we delist Clarke.
