I can't remember the number but that EP side had something like 500-600 Afl games experience compared to Peels 1100-1200.

And yes the players you mentioned will mostly all be gone next year maybe Peel can recruit them for more AFL xp

The amusing thing for all non WC supporters is the knowledge that the club has two match-winners in Kennedy and Nicnatkneei. Both ageing. One can't impact during finals, and the other now injury prone and apart from the highlights reel, flawed.

Yet the club now is in a situation where they will hand onto them and top up for a premiership tilt because of them. What would GWS or GCS give for NN? Cats or Bulldogs for Kennedy? Hell, they could even troll Carlton.

What they should be doing is trading them, and going into a serious rebuild.

You're obviously trolling, but doesn't that just inevitably reflect worse on West coast? In East Perth's last game of the year they had 14 eagles players, and yet they lost to this same Subi side by 42 points. That side was also fielding kids like Wellingham, Schofield, Masten, Hill, Giles, etc.

How many Eagles players were playing for East Perth when they lost to Perth in the second last home and away game, when the Royals could still make the finals?
Waterman, Bayok, Schofield, Snadden, McInnes, Rioli, Wellingham, Mutimer, Gorter, Nelson, Masten, Giles, Watson are all on the Eagles list.

The 4 recruits from this year, will at least be "B" grade. Darcy, Ryan, Cox & Logue have alot of upside. Not saying they will all be "A" graders, but these players put a grin on the supporters faces.

What I saw on replay on TV looked quite minor. Halligan shook off the knock and managed to take his free kick and play on for the rest of the game quite comfortably.
