PICK 5 FREMANTLE - ANDREW BRAYSHAW

A jet midfielder with a good balance between his inside and outside game. Lots of family in WA so Freo won't be worried about a go home factor. Has good pace and endurance and tested extremely well at the combine. One of the most certain players in the draft to reach 200 games.

year of the cat is unable to post right now so I am filling in for him for this pick

Pick 6 - Collingwood - Jarrod Brander

This kid was rated as no.1 earlier in the year but has been up and down as many tall kids are at this age. He is a sound mark and great kick. Collingwood are screaming out for another tall to accompany Moore up forward. I’m backing this kid to come good and be the premier tall of this year’s draft.

Suggestion... this will get very messy if we do not have an updated list to refer to who has been taken ... a draft list on the first page for example.

Nooo took my boy. Still first big bolter that should shake up the draft order.

Pick 7 StKilda ...

Classic footballer who can play a multitude of roles and am still not sure which is his best. Saw him play some wonderful footy last year as a midfielder and I reckon clubs would love to use him there if they can but he is very good back as well which is probably where he starts. Big powerful unit who really influences the play and leads by example. Loves the contested stuff, sticks his tackles hard and is good with his decision making around the stoppage. Skills are good and he is a good mark of the footy as well. Only room he probably needs to improve a bit is some of his running numbers and hence think will get taken as a 3rd tall defender type.

CT says... (has him at 4)

The South Australian's struggles for form this season haven't stopped clubs from being very keen on taking him as an early pick at the draft. Fogarty is no-nonsense, on and off the field. He plays with a robust style that sees him push others out of the way, mark strongly on the lead and use his penetrating right foot to create the play. He's also been honest with clubs about his difficult season, which was cut short by a knee injury. Nevertheless, North needs a star and Fogarty has the traits to be one. They've watched him closely and he can change a game.

People will say he is a big bolter but he isn’t. For those that watch a bit if junior footy this kid was known and really highly regarded coming into the year but just had terrible troubles with his knee. He has come back from it really well and I don’t think clubs are going to be overly concerned because without any issues late in the year. I don’t think he even had strapping on it. Big explosive player who probably had his best day on the G in the All Star Game. Showed off all best attributes. Powerful inside the contest and won his own ball, competitive and made really good decisions exiting by hand and foot. Deceptively quick and has really good finishing ability. Wont be surprised if he goes as high as 4.

The almighty Doggos will reach deep into the jank-tank and pull out...

NICHOLAS COFFIELD

Defender ▪ 191 CM ▪ 82 KGs

I think he's going to try and fill in for some guy called Murphy Roberts
