Playing Danger and Gawn leaves your side skinny in other areas. One has to go. Gawn gone from my side or the alternative is I am picking mid pricers or rookies that are just plain shite or over priced. Hope Gawn bites all your smart asses ☺

Got the Sandi/Witts combo at the moment with Ryder at f3 and it's making me nervous. I can't recall the last time I went with a set up that wasn't set and forget but this just isn't a set and forget year. I'm so happy with the rest of my side too. I really want Stef or Hickey R1 but I just can't see where to drop the rest of my side that leaves me happy.

What about if hickey is sole ruck. Is he worth considering over gawn goldy etc
I woukdn't
he was in my team last year, a few good games, more avg & bad games - never again

Campbell and Boyd are garbage picks.
Either set and forget, or 1 premo + Sandi with Nank FWD.

2 premo rucks and Boyd as F5/6 as b/up should work. He will do most ruck early with Rough out for 6 and Campbell underdone. I think he could generate 80's and make. Little cash b4 you upgrade. Nank and Ryder are the other obvious 2 but 80-150k more $. I'm considering this with Cameron as R3 for DPP

I've got Sandi locked in at R2. Massive value and I don't mind taking Ryder/Nank up forward as insurance. After last year I'm always gonna look to grab ruck cover at some stage and I believe that neither will be available as cheap during the year so happy days welcome R/F swing.

Really coming around to taking Stef Martin at R1 if Archie Smith isn't named round 1. Is a beast when going solo, and coming off a horror year has what I think is a pretty favourable draw for a ruckman.
In order, until his bye, he goes up against; Witts, McKernan, Hickey, Nank, Whoever is rucking for the Bullies, Ryder, Tippy, McEvoy, Jacobs and Grundy. Out of that I see at least 6 games where he'll come out on top fairly easily. Hickey is a bit of an unknown, Ryder will beat him in the air so he'll need to get a stack of touches that week and will split the points against the Swans brigade and Grundy imo.

wat about krooze. not much talk about him. full pre season. looks good best since his free injury yrs. no strappings. not a lot of competition in the ruck at my club just levi for a chop out for a short time

Barracking for Carlton wouldn't help you make the choice.
Unless he's an outright gun you'd look for a better option.
