Really ? .....at 34 years old and can't remember last when he played a full season ?
I agree his scoring can be elite, hence why i am picking him .....but do so fully expecting anything up to 8 games early in the season to be a bonus ....but by then we'll have a clearer of which ruck to replace Sandilands with

If he plays 8 games why replace him
Maybe its me but the whole line of thinking is flawed.
What if he plays 3, scores an average of 105 then is out for Rd4 ...what do you do?

No, don't get me wrong ....there's a difference between expectation and possibilities
If he plays and scores as you've outlined, i'll only replace Sandilands if he gets injured .....otherwise he stays as a keeper .....it's just not what i am expecting to happen

I am hoping Sandilands lasts long enough for some of my Rookies to mature and cash in if he gets injured .......hoping he doesn't and remains a keeper, but you have to have a plan B with Sandilands

Is Witts guaranteed no. 1 ruck? Would suck if Sandi got injured and Witts was your cover playing NEAFL.
Yeah my big Sandi concern is the late out. As Bogut shows, old tall guys get less and less durable.

Coming around to the idea of R2 Sandi R3 Witts. It's a 520k outlay for a ruck combo which would average maybe 85 (Sandi 100, Witts 70). Witts won't play all the games and it's risky. But how is it less risky with a doughnut RF on the bench and Nankervis as cover? Witts has a 20 game season under his belt, Toby has played 5 and 6 in his career.

Ryder, Sandi (Strnadica) and Nankervis in my forwards. Rucks are a clusterf*** so why not pick the two underpriced sole ruckmen in their teams along with Sandi who is ridiculous value?
Trade the worst performing R/F to the best performed ruck (if appropriate) during the season and let the good times roll.
The only thing stopping this plan is Martin. If he is sole ruck I will be very tempted by him come Round 1!

So many ruck permutations and strategies!
I've got three options at the moment.
1. Hickey, Sandi, Witts - think I'll run with this if Hickey starts R1 without Longer. Hickey was on my radar as soon as the third man rule change was announced. Witts provides cover for Sandi and should generate cash. Aim is at R9 to have enough cash generated to bring in the best ruck available.
2. Same as 1 except Hickey > Nank. This likely if Longer and Hickey named R1. May consider Stef for Hickey if he's named as solo ruck R1
3. Goldie and Sandi with FD strndica.
Thoughts?

Have managed to juggle my side around. Steele or Nank at F6? Allready have Ryder. Tinsand is my ruck combo.
