72,504 was the final crowd attendance. The MCC predicted 68K, so it was a pretty good figure overall in spite of the opponent and weather conditions.

I’ll do the same as last week and have a look at 9am Monday morning and if I can get good seats I’ll wear the cost. If not then I’ll have a go at the AFL seats. Weather is looking excellent for next Friday.
 
I really wish competing AFL club members got priority over everyone else in situations like this.

:thumbsu: .... right on, club members are #1 & get short shifted for people who chose not to join their club (but deny deny it), join the AFL not their club or join the cricket club to go to the footy.
Interesting to see if access to the MCC reserve is delivered as per the sleazy deal that secured the GF venue extension to the cricket club.

Better off splitting them 2 and 3?
