Please don't ruin my Greene POD :'( ........you Coaches should be satisfied with your Heeney .....FFS don't you guys understand the term when you post ..."my team is :lock::lock:"

Any love for Toby Greene? Yes he has had an interrupted PS, yes he is a flog and yes he scored poorly in JLT2, but should come out firing R1. Feel like a lot of people are taking risks on the likes of Trac, Smith, Walters, McLean etc to breakout but when it comes to finals later in the year, I’d feel much better with Greene in my side than any of the above.

Edit: come finals I want a fwd line looking like: Heeney, Buddy, Billings, Greene, Gray and one of the breakout players (Smith)... not a fwd line of McLean, Walters, Petracca, Smith, Sicily and one star
McLean has improved every year in terms of SC not the worst pick.

So 50 shades > Toby. :D.

I've gone Greene as a POD ......his JLT score wasn't that bad ?

A 56 point game from 48 min was actually pretty good .....he's had 2 more weeks of fitness work since, and his touch was good .......everyone has Heeney, gone a diff path
Didn’t realise his TOG, makes him even tastier. IMO underdone players bottom out early for obvious reasons (R5-6), but my focus will be on Dangerfield in these early rounds, so not too fussed if he dips early.

whereas he wanted to try out the others in contention for round 1.

Don't know how much credence to give them, but several of the Suns posters don't think Brodie is a lock as he is only an inside mid and doesn't ha

The way he plays, giving away a few frees, Toby needs to score 3+ goals to ton up. Late upgrade for me, hopefully after his last suspension. Stuck with him last year. Like Heeney he underwhelmed when the finals whips were cracking. Buddy, after a 42 in his first final scored 164, 98, 183. That's star power for SC finalists! Happy to watch the season unfold. Some of the midpricers could outshine the established favourites.

Lowest score of 62 when Richmond destroyed gws in finals. 2 scores in the 70s, 6 in the 80s, 5 90s & 5 tons. May not score the 180s of Buddy, but doesn't score the 40s of buddy either. One of those will hit 450k IMO, and it won't be Greene

Brought Buddy in for the SC GF last year, none of the 6 opponents I was playing had him. Was a thing of beauty. Won all 6.

And if he had one of his 40 point games then you probably would have lost most of them.

Loving the total ignorance to this man.

Will play round 1. Missed JLT2 as a precaution.
If Danger is missing? 120.
If Danger plays? 105.

Looking forward to the "How do I get Menegola into my team?" posts after Sicily, Petracca and co. stink it up early on.

Just rejigged my team to make Barlow and Dunkley F4 & F5 but now find Bulldogs Adams has done an ankle. Trengove may be sent to the back line, despite training as a ruck/forward. Tempting price, 345. Also should give Naughton JS, so I'm loathe to upgrade him. Have to find 35k to avoid dipping into Danger money. Back to the drawing board.

Starting Petracca is not the worst idea going around.

At worst he becomes a handy F7/M9 at seasons end.

I am starting him at F5 btw. :thumbsu:

First year I've been on him. Trained pretty much exclusively with the midfield group this pre-season and attended the 3rd most centre bounces behind Fyfe/Neale over JLT which has all but confirmed his midfield precense this year. Ballantyne and Matera will free him up from the small pressure forward role. Mundy on his last legs and with Fyfe resting forward, Walters/Brayshaw will be the ones rotating through the mids. The Hills play wing, dont think they'll affect him too much.

I just downgraded Heeney to Walters so I could upgeade O'Meara to Cogs at M6. :rainbow:

I will grab Heeney later as my last forward upgrade. :thumbsu:

Batting deep in the forwards this year and have Petracca at F5.

Yeah might get him in for Greene. Is he 100%?

Sooooo undecided who to run at f1-3

Currently have heeney and billings but hardly inspired by heeney's JLT form. Billings a lock. It's a lottery after him

Read that he was good to go. Another pre-season done and he's good for 100+ average.

200w.webp

I like his role! Going to take over Boyd's, easily will average more than his current price.

Took a few nice intercept marks against us in JLT 1, and seemed to be a good user off half back. Very tempted
