I get and respect the odd financial situation (good work, 89!) that some have but other than that I am staggered every year that fans sign up as members so late in the season - no matter - a member is a member!

I don't care when people sign up, as long as they are hopefully inclined to follow it up the next year and then keep following it up. In the past I have bought the odd cheaper distance memberships for family or friends when we make it to a game later in the season or birthday pressies. Often in families the support is there but due to available finances the expense/payment is spread out over the year. I can see why a lot of memberships can be spread over the season for a household of Bluebaggers.

Just a fantastic effort, firstly by the Club and the membership department in circumstances that could hardly be more difficult... but props also to the people who keep putting their money down for a 2018 membership. Even if they are only a dollar each for the kids, people on both sides of the equation are still getting it done, which suggests to me that engagement is excellent, all things considered.

Add Cripps to that, and I'm pretty sure we've had the best week a 1-16 team has ever had .

Imagine when we win 10 games a season, it'll be 65-70k easy when the fair weather fans chip in.

And when we play finals for two season it'll be 80k+ no worries.

the Bombers have 80k without even making the finals.
I should hope we get there if we're 55k now

Dont be worried about the Tigers /bombres numbers because who knows what they are doing to get so many. For example the Tiger Prez stated they have a one game membership of the dreamtime game and membership/charity donation (3.5k members) for one of their theme games - Madeleine foundation. Really innovative way to engage supporters.
