2018 membership

Was told by a guy in the Membership dept last week when I renewed that there is a waiting list of 1700 for the EJ Whitten Social Club. I suspect that was the figure during this season and will depend on how many of these renew considering we are unlikely to be a Grand Finalist. Still, it appears highly likely there will be no drop-off for the Social Club Membership going forward.

Apparently last year we hit 30k on December 21st, or at least we announced it that day. So to be ahead by 1000 is a great result considering last years on field performance.

Did anyone get the 2017 year in review mag? I got mine today and there seems to be some serious problems with the printing/colour on the front cover.

lol Yeah i was trying to work out if they were aiming for a dreamy look? may have missed the mark, looks like it had been sitting in the sun for a year before being send out hahah

I had it too for that very reason. Gave it up after 2016. Would go again of course but still shits me how few tickets were/are allocated to members of competing clubs. As many as possible should get to experience that, at least once, while the window is open.

Got SC a fair few years ago when Eade nearly got us there, gave it (and hope) up during the BMac years, regained it halfway through 2015 when it became apparent that hope had returned .

Just the normal Tiggers bandwagon, probably took an advance on their dole payments to pay for it, numbers will drop off next year as they return to their rightful spot of 9th on the ladder.

Early season form pending, yep. I reckon they can. And the players are fully aware of it, the one I spoke to anyway... Tiger train is overflowing.

Given Australia’s population, that would be an absolutely incredible result. Credit where it’s due, they’ve increased membership hugely in recent years and bar this year, it wasn’t on the back of any significant success.

It's pretty ordinary isn't it? You'd expect something a bit more professional these days. You can just make out the word 'BULLDOG' at the top of the cover and the words 'Thanks Boydy Bob' with the 'o' in Bob' in the shape of a heart. Cringeworthy IMO.

815 members of the toddler puppy pack.

Interesting to see how it develops.

Got my membership package today. The scarf isn't too bad, but nothing can replace my 1990 Forges scarf with the coffee stains. Zsa Zsa will appreciate it as a sleeping mat on those cold winter days. It was -18C in Chicago yesterday and they had snow Christmas Eve. Suckers!
