Just trying to reaffirm a point that Curnow at 30k cheaper is MUCH better value with a much higher ceiling than what de Goey is.

Everyone is free to pick who they want and this whole forum is based on opinion which is fine but look at Charlie's scores when we actually made him a focal point all over the ground late last season.

He will be given an even greater role in 2018 and just sayin.

Curnow ...3 x 100+ last 7 games ....in his 3rd season
De Goey ...4 x 100+ last 7 games ...in his 4th season & likely to spend more Mid Minutes than Curnow

The'ye both a Watch IMO during the PS .....but i feel it's a year early for Curnow

How many games was Pendles healthy/or playing in during those De Goey tons?

Curnow has NO competition for Mid minutes or time anywhere in our current team.

Him and his brother were endurance runners as kids and both at elite level when teenagers.

Tank is the last of Charlies worries and you actually saying that is surprising me. The ability to actually run all day is last thing that worries me with Curnow.

Don't be fooled by his height that he has no tank and cannot run all day.

He only got decent Mid field minutes late last season when we decided to actually to make him a focal point and he passed with flying colors for a player of his age.

Actually i would comfortably say that Charlie Curnow at 30k cheaper in the forward line will have a higher average than De Goey after next season and will see equal if not more Mid field minutes.

I'll take this bet for shits n giggles.

Worth noting the 3rd and 4th highest priced midfielders at Carlton are Kerridge and Graham, neither of whom would be guaranteed a spot in the side next year. Plenty of midfield opportunities for the likes of C Curnow.

Ryliy Bonner gets me going a bit for a 257k defender, played the last 2 games of this year for a 75 and 81 and played one game in 2016 for a 76, i really want a proper pod (under 2% ownership) this year and he could be my guy.
