Not sure if this has been mentioned yet, but I saw a commercial last evening with "Never Tear Us Apart" as it's background soundtrack. It showed gay people getting married. Couldn't even tell you who the sponsor was.
Not that there is anything wrong with it .....

With this ambassador thing coming to light what's stopping the AFC going to the AFL and saying make Sloane an ambassador because all of these superstar players leaving interstate clubs to go to Vic clubs makes the competition look unfair.

West coast and Freo should be doing the same with Mcgovern and Fyfe

There should be 1 in each state really

Really there should be one per interstate team and none in Victoria at all, why the **** does Victoria of all states need 'ambassadors'. The game was born in that state ffs, it doesn't need help.

Victoria is interstate.....

Who was that port nuffy who tweeted when AFC signed China Southern Airlines?

Something about us getting the table scraps. How's that working out?

Andrew Hunter.

Seems more of the Koch brains trust than the Thomas brains trust.

Do the Chinese have a word for hubris? Because that would amount to Port's experience over there so far.

Yeah sure, in the context of the state we're both standing in right now it's interstate, but in the context of the Australian Football League, which is what we're talking about, it most definitely is not.

Blatant attempt to poach power supporters from labor. Who will give port the biggest handout?

Has Jay contributed more than the free fireworks show and naming the Shanghai driving range?

From PPFC website.

In a further boost to the game the South Australian State Government today announced naming rights for the fixture at Jiangwan Stadium with the ground now officially called Adelaide Arena at Jiangwan Stadium.

"We thank the South Australian State Government for their ongoing support. To be playing on Adelaide Arena at Jiangwan Stadium, our home away from home, will be special and again its bringing two cities and two cultures together which is at the heart of our strategy.”

“Next year, we’re going one better with the ground to be re-named Adelaide Arena at Jiangwan Stadium, providing even more exposure for our State.”

So did they, or didn't they, announce they've got a major sponsor at their season launch?

If they didn't, Port are STILL without a major sponsor a) weeks out from the season opener and b) after promising for yonks to announce one soon.

And not one peep out of the SA media to keep them either honest or under pressure to be financially viable. You would think the leading footy newspaper or leading footy radio station might have mentioned it, considering they all hate Port Adelaide so much and are desperate to give everything to the Crows. #portlogic

If they had one they would have announced it to the teary eyed faithful that were there last night - the ones that " I luvs this club" and "I Luvs Choco."
Nauseating

Huh! And here I was thinking Alberton was their home and Adelaide Oval was their home away from home, maybe this is then their home away from home away from home.
Must’ve been a typo.

With the Powah having their season launch tonight I guess they will finally reveal their new major sponsor, very cunning how they have kept it under wraps for months to release it just 14 days before the season starts for maximum exposure.
I kind of wish the AFC had sponsored port (for a year) so they had to run around with our logo on their guernseys.

F#^%^ !!! That absolute BS and a waste of my tax dollars. This fckn govt and BS powa sucking on its teet...

It's deplorable.
Neighbors dad who lives at Henley had to go to Noarlunga for his dialysis.
QEH which has a renal Centre , has sold off some of their machines to Hampstead.

It cost him $60 by UBER.

Absolute disgrace

That’s a hideous waste of taxpayers money. Time you were gone Jay. Firstly having to suffer that ****head Foley with his nurturing of that shitcan franchise and then having to suffer this rubbish veiled as whatever it is they’re trying to fool us with.
I like that it's named after our club.
