Parker isn't going anywhere.

Tom Harley has already stated today that he doesn't want to be traded and won't be traded UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
Ok, I can see you're trying to play hardball and bluff here, so we'll increase our offer for Parks and Hanners to Luke Dunstan AND our future 2nd.

But you'll owe us one for next time.

I saw that final and can't say I was very impressed, looked very slow and lethargic. To be fair though the whole sydney side looked that way.
Fair enough, didn't see a second of it so I can't comment.
Rots reckoned he watched him closely and he was hard at it all night with no protection.
Anyhow, 6 months before our next game.
More interested how having Hanners in the guts affects the dynamics of our mids and how Steven, Ross, Steele, Acres etc are reset.
Particularly interested how Steele is used. About our most effective mid and just about to flourish.

Hanners or Dunstan?

just on Menzel.

The biggest question mark is his body.

There is no doubt about his talent.

Possibly the only reason he was be looking at us is because Geelong will only offer him one year as opposed to our two years.

If they offered him two, he'd probably stay.

However their dynamics have changed after their loss. So they may not even offer him one.

Parker too? Just got an alert on my phone from the AFL website saying two have requested trades from Sydney.

Edit: Nope, Rohan the other one. Swans unequivocally deny Parker is available.

Jon Ralph just said on Fox Footy that Tom Harley advised him that Parker is contracted and required but didn’t rule out the possibility of a trade.

Not sure what that means but that’s what he said.

Gamble was delisted and we picked him up with a 4th rounder...
and we will pick up Menzel as a free agent ... both cost two parts of stuff all ... both players had the skills but had something holding them back from reaching it fully at Geelong ... Gamble never really fit in and was a blip on the radar for our club .. maybe Menzel will be differant but its got a simalr feel to me ...

Well Gringo I have 2 points for you:
1) look up the definition of 'Literally'
2) That's not how its made, I've been to Colombia and I've been to a far away town called San Augustin, It's known for its heritage sites, waterfalls and making cocaine. I participated in all 3. How you described it being made isn't remotely close.
Correct. The stuff we get out in the Northeast has been cut about 40 times and is 3% pure...winning :(

I believe the deal is done. Thanks for pick 3.

Gibbs was contracted and required by Carlton until the last two hours of the trade period too.
They will hang out for #4 and see if we fold.

load of shit mate.

Each year he has gotten fitter and stronger. When he gets a run of games he starts looking like he could take a game apart. It really is belief and a little bit of help from the team with cleaner entries. There are times when he gets out on leads and we miss him badly on entries.

Battle and marshall have shown more from fewer opportunities....having the same garbage kicked at them.

Ralph is an idiot.

From Tom Harley: “I was very surprised to hear about trade rumours with Luke Parker. I can unequivocally deny those rumours. We have spoken to Luke today, he is fully invested in the Swans and we won’t be trading him under any circumstances at all"

But what difference does it make though?

Low body fat literally doesn’t anything of note.

It has no noticeable difference in acceleration or speed. In fact it can be argued that with the higher body density the more strength in the core.

I have no issue with Paddy being pudgy, I just don’t rate his endurance and critically his balance. He loses his feet extremely easily.

They can be linked but most likely is that he loses body fat and in turn muscle mass and he’s still slow but now he seems being outbodied by even more defenders

This is extremely incorrect lel

Their 15% is like honestly 11/12. That is an extremely potent core

Agreed, but it was as close as I could get with the 27 seconds I apportioned to the google image search. Was trying to back your point :p

As others have said, just getting the name Hannebery increases our chances of attracting other talent to the club.

Could have a bit of the year 2000 about it, when getting Blight helped us to get Hamill or Gehrig, which then presumably helped us get the other one, plus Lawrence, Capuano and Voss (?).

The ball is rolling now. Ratten, Hanners, Choco?, Gubby?, Menzel?....

Is Joop suspended because of the above admission

Normally love your work Trav but this not your best comment. Menzel is a far better player than Gamble. When he's up and about he makes difficult things look like shelling peas.
lets not forget Gamble also had those moments of brilliance remember him kicking bags of goals against Port and the bulldogs he could really turn it on but then go missing .... i remember very clearly being excited by what Gamble could bring to the club he was always just out of the dominant Geelong teams but with the exception of one game where he kicked 4 he was uninspiring for us ...
Menzel i feel is very similar hes an almost there player , has flashes where you think wow hes a star but then either falls away big time or gets injured ...
in the end he isnt going to cost anything so im not fussed either way but im not going to pin our hopes on him

Yeah but we kept picks 1 (Roo) and 2 (Kosi) can we do the trading and keep pick 4? That's what I want...
