Hey guys
Just reading your posts on Rocky. i picked him as a steeping stone to danger thinking he was underpriced and would make some quick $ and then trade up to danger. don't think that's going to happen now with a 55 in r1.
So now thinking it might be worth a quick trade to dusty and give up on Rocky.
If he comes good is it likely to be around the 90 mark rather than the 110 mark?
Might be worth bringing back in if he gets dual mid/forward status in round 6.

Hey guys, how did Dom Barry go today. I saw his stats but want to know if he had an impact.
SC related of course, but I like his background story.

Cheers
Terrible first half, but then so did the entire team! But from half time onward he just got better and better. Definitely had an impact. Games like these are fast-forwarding the development of the younger guys. He will just keep getting better IMO.

Well Rocky, I can't say it was fun...
Total of 157 points so far. Doesn't sound great but what makes it really dire is that this is AF and SC combined. And holding onto a premium cost player with those numbers makes for some stern thinking. Getting rid of a premium and known pig after 2 bad games may seem hasty but IMO he will get nowhere near his previous heights for a few rounds. Could get DPP status later and could be picked up again after a drop in price if he improves.

Write-off for now and someone that could potentially be considered if he shows a strong patch but from the first half I saw, he spends the first 5-6 min of the quarter on the bench before rolling through the midfield.

Playing at the SCG didn't help as there's little room so more congestion/less mark + kicks - that being said, he's never been shy to tackle. So yeah, no good.

One of those picks where you quickly realise you were trying to be too smart for your own good when in fact it was a shithouse selection like you knew it was going to be deep down. Curse that little fantasy devil on your shoulder whispering into your ear "he's averaged 130+ before and won't be in many teams, you know you want to".

End of the day, I don't really mind it, it is kind of like a free swing at picking up someone you overlooked/missed from the get go, as long as they maintain the form you expect when you buy them in and not fools gold.

Hey guys, I'm wondering what Barry's JS is like? Obviously has good scoring potential for a rookie but I don't want to be wasting a trade on him if he's gonna lose his spot soon.

Good! He has taken Amon's place. Amon not exactly lighting up the twos atm, so up to him. If he maintains form, looks like he will keep his spot.

Hi all.
I've got a question re Riley Bonner.

In R1 he seemed to play Pittarrd's role and dominated. Come R2 Pittard plays and Bonner's score crashes.

Do you guys think he's a viable SC choice and a potential keeper while Pittard is in team? I'd hate to trade him in and have him average 75 from here on

Pittard didn’t play round 2.

Pittard wasn't in, Bonner's score was lower more due to the SCG than anything else, he's never played on it before, in fact that was only his 5th h/a game and his lowest score has been 75. With the way he plays I can't see any low scores on the way. Everyone scores the odd 75 but he should keep up an average of 80-90. And at his price and a -44 breakeven it is hard to go wrong, whatever happens his price will rocket.

Pittard is slated for round 4 and it's quite possible he will come through the SANFL having had no real pre-season and the defence doing very nicely so we may not see him till round 6. Don't see that affecting Bonner's run from defence as all the defenders are being given that licence this year.

Well that's embarrassing!
In any case, what do got think Pittard's return (when it comes) will do to his scoring?
Difficult. He looks a gun, and the best thing for him is game time! Really, if/when Pittard comes back, Bonner should make way for him, but the consensus is that he is actually an upgrade on Pittard, esp in regards to his decision-making and kicking. So possibly Houston goes out instead, or maybe Murray makes way, and Bonner replaces him on the wing ... or

Really, we dont exactly know ... but his lowered output on Sunday was probably more to do with the conditions and the opposition than anything.

Must get is Tim Kelly. Fortunately has not taken an increase in SC so you can still get him for $117300 but his price after R3 is expected to be $224K.
His AF price has taken a huge $95K leap in 2 rounds but at $319K he is still worth it.
His B/E's are -166(SC) and -24(AF) so at the very least anyone with him is looking at a huge cash cow over the next few weeks. He could even be at a low premium price by mid-season.

Thanks guys.
I think I've decided.

If Venables makes the final cut for WCE, I'll do Naughton to Bonner.

If Venables doesn't, it'll be ZGL to Ryan. I've got Greene out and can't afford no bench and two less moneymakers on one line this early in the season.

What has the Chad Wingard's role been the first two rounds? I haven't seen him play yet but according to fanfooty he's playing deep forward. Has he been getting much midfield time? i'm thinking of moving him on.

Hey guys so is Barry going to play a permanant outside role?

Also weighing up who to get from Barry or Bonner thoughts? can afford both no problem.

Bonner is the one who will have the greater game time and his scores are likely to range from 70-90 with the odd 100+. Barry will score but ATM the game he is playing is not a line-breaking possession game like Bonner and I would put him at 60-80.

THanks, also is gray gonna continue with a midfield role for awhile or is the rock gray swap imminent?
