All AF scores for players in the JLT. Jackson Trengove looks like he's going to be played in a position where he would do well in SC or AF. So long as they don't decide to put him back to defence now that Adams and Morris have gone down, however it has been suggested this may not happen. He is listed as a forward and is $344900(SC) and $446K(AF).

Also there are a few cheap midfield options for the bench such as Dom Barry, Nick Holman and Bailey Banfield.

Hi guys, is Riley bonner worth picking for Supercoach?
Risky IMO ... He has star potential, but is a bit pricey, and his output unknown. Also if he falters, he will have Jaspar Pittard ready to oust him on his return from injury. For a few cents more Darcy Byrne-Jones, has much better job security, and is always good for a solid score. (97 vs Crows)

Thoughts on Dom Barry? If hes selected is he likely to get an extended run or be replaced by gray or someone?
No, plays a different position to Gray. Barry takes one of the wings, and if he is selected, which it looks like he will be, and he keeps playing well, he can hold his spot. There is competition for spots, so his job security will be linked to his form, which had been an eye-opener so far!

Who exactly would his competition be?

Who exactly would his competition be?
It will be fringe players like Amon, Atley, Neade, Toumpas and McKenzie, that will be knocking on the door for selection. But, probably his main competition will be Amon. Motlop will fill the vacancy left by White's retirement, and Barry will probably come off the bench. So if selected, the position will be his to keep. Play well and he stays in.

Thanks for the insight Tibbs. I've seen others suggest Barry does go out for Gray, causing me to rejig. If not him, who do you think goes out for Gray?

Actually, the way I see it Barry is in our 22 which includes gray! So, with Gray suspended, the question should be; Who come in for Gray? IMO it will be one of Amon/Neade/Marshall, who will then make way for Gray the following week. Still feel that Barry will stay in when Gray comes back.

Agree on that. Amon and Neade are only named as emergencies which suggests Marshall is the man in the 22 who will come out. I wouldn't back Hinkley being a great fan of going with more than two tall forwards at the SCG anyway. Unless he saw something in Marshall in the pre-season that I didn't.

Looks like the fantasy traders on the afl website made a bit of a boo-boo ignoring the cheap Jaeger O'Meara($433K) and the underpriced Stephen Coniglio($633K) and went with last year's fantasy pig Tom Rockliff($705K) who bombed big-time this week. He will improve but will reach nowhere near the heights he did before in a team where he is not the big kahuna.

A Hawthorn fan was on this board asking about Riley Bonner for SC, he got 2 opinions, one said go for him, one said spend a bit more on the more reliable DBJ. Riley scored 34 more and costs $97K less.

I had Brayshaw(Melbourne) who did not make the cut so i changed to Bonner...

I have both Coniglio and Jaeger, but didn't pick Bonner. I was a bit too concerned with his job security, and I was super impressed with DBJ's preseason, so I have him in my side. I will stick with him too, but Bonner looks sensational if he can keep that up.

I couldn't believe the traders ignored Coniglio, he was steadily improving and had a good year in 2016. His average was down last year but he only played 7 games and in the finals he scored 92, 121 and 143.
