My take on him is that he's weak. Happy to verbally commit but when push comes to shove, he cowardly backflips because he can't front up to tell his club he's leaving.

There's absolutely no chance we do that and nor should we.

The last two years already has a chance of putting doubts in the minds of prospective recruits. If we come out and publicly lambaste a player for not joining the club, it will not only solidify those doubts, it will actively turn off players and player agents from wanting to deal with the club.
