I dont care about the public perception (all that shit will settle and we've done ok so far) and don't blame the club for what they're doing, but as soon as GWS's 2019 season is done, Connors needs to be told you have 48 hours for a decision or we move on.

As for Gaff, wish him well and sure he'll have a great rest of his career but there's clearly some underlying issues going on there. Hope he sorts them out.

My take is that this has almost certainly been leaked to Bowen by the club to get the PR wheels moving before the finality of a public decision from him, and he's phrased this as "people close to Gaff." I would have though that this is a fairly classic way of the club trying to control the story.

How many clubs actually target and lure big names away from their clubs? It rarely happens for a reason. I reckon Treloar is the only big target we've gone after who actually changed clubs.

Richmond will land Lynch. Danger went to Geelong. Ablett to Suns. Buddy to Swans. Shit Neale to Brisbane is on the cards. Sheil won't be at GWS. Even one of our old targets in Hannebery is headed to the Saints. Sure the majority of our targets have stayed at their original clubs but my point still stands. There is a pattern. A pattern of failure in being able to convince a high profile player to come to our club. Someone is surely responsible for this. It can't be seen as one of those things. :stern look
