Got it, its not the Tiges fans its the FIXture.

Lol i saw what u did here :thumbsu: FIX.
GWS away you only going to get 12-15K and pies haven't played GWS there yet which they too will only get anywhere between 12-15K at spotless.
We also play GC away again 15-18K and pies dont play GC at metricon they play them here so will get say 35K theirs a leg up right there.

This is the point im making about the fixture. For example take ess away from the pies 2nd game fixture and hand them instead GC away, that would be minus 60K min difference in attendance for the pies and thats fact.

Their is one thing about you you will never give a true account but im happy to clarify and tell the facts.

Yes i predicted that at seasons start on the Richmond board that pies will finish ahead of Richmond but this is 100% based on the fixture geared towards the pies. Lets not make no mistake about that. Last year both top 4 with similar fixture tigers easily on top by (82K).

Here are 3 important points from the fixture.
2019 you play ess twice we play them once so thats a minus 30 to 40K in attendance for us
We play GC and GWS away, you play them once away. (actually we play GWS again here also) so 3 times playing these 2 teams. Again minus 30 to 40K in attendance.
You have more Friday night 7 games to Richmond 2, so those 5 games on a Friday night ill keep it at a bare min that those games will give you more attendance in the range of 25-30K all up

So i actually stated that the pies should top the 2019 H&A attendance by anywhere between 80-100K due to Richmond having a 80-100K handicap.

If you top it by more than 100K then id say you wouldve finished on top anyway, if its about 70K it could go either way.
But if you finish 50-60K ahead then Richmond wouldve topped the H&A attendance for season 2019

The home attendances will tell the true story - Tiges clearly ahead on 65K average to Collingwood's 59K

True but i gotta say the inequalities of the draw is glaring.
Even one change to the fixture remove the GC game at metricon and give us Ess at the G again and its +60K in attendance to us.
Even Friday night games pies have 7 and 2 to us.

Anyway knowing all this you have to accept they will top it...

80k pretty amazing crowd because of the torrential rain that fell right at the time alot were umming and ahing about going from home, would have got into the 90’s in clear conditions.

Would have affected families who had reserved seats in the open.

Just thinking, imagine if the G had a dome, the noise created would be incredible.

20,023 at the G today.

Dees fans have dropped off now. Round 1 v port they drew 38,000 now 10 weeks on only 20,000!

Hopefully Melbourne fans turn up
On queens bday. Collingwood home game so minimum 50,000 Collingwood fans need minimum 20,000 Melbourne fans plus a lot of neutrals to get anywhere near last years crowd of 83,000!

85-88,000 more likely. To get over 90,000 Essendon would of had to be in the top 4 for that to happen. MCC predicted 83,000 before the match and on average their predictions are on average 2-5,000 unders or overs. So the crowd would of been no higher then 88,000 on a perfect night but with Essendon’s form the max crowd would of been 85,000.

Shame we dont show up for blockbuster games anymore. Lost the last 5 against the tigs and 7 of 10 against the pies

Bombers v Blues next week at the MCG will be fascinating. There is potential for massive fallout next week, particularly if Carlton win. Crowd of less than 45k is possible, depending on weather.

This clash would bring Melbourne to a standstill if they were both contending.

I'd say 45K too.. with 15 thousand loyal bluebaggers. Richmond v Geelong will bring Melbourne to a standstill.. good weather 90k with 60 thousand Richmond fans.

I am not so sure about this .

Even though we have been given no favors in scheduling, reckon we will make it 4out of the last 5 years on top in crowds.

This isn the strength of the tiger army
