Pretty good for a Thursday against against an interstate team with very little support in Melbourne.Remember its all about the ratings for these matches not big crowds.
Which was also a Thursday night...Lel .Saint Kilda are better supported in Perth than Essendon.Essendon fourth lowest attendance at Perth Stadium on a nice sunny weekend in 2018.Only ahead of Port,The Suns amd the Bulldogs on a freezing wet day.
Yes. And every other city, state and country combined.
Incidentally, Essendon have the biggest membership base in WA outside of the two WA based clubs.Which was also a Thursday night...
Saints v Tigers will get sub 30. Wheels about to fall off for both teams and marvel has been a nightmare for tiger fans this year.Tigers V Saints is the Madrie’s game so will draw a few extra. Both around 40K though Sunday fixture more conducive to better crowd.
The wheels won’t fall off at Tigerland, they’re getting seven players back tomorrow. But yes, Tigers fans don’t travel in big numbers to Marvel.Saints v Tigers will get sub 30. Wheels about to fall off for both teams and marvel has been a nightmare for tiger fans this year.
Good luck expecting 30K. 25K will see it out Hawthorn fans are known band wagoners and are starting to drop off already.
31k today is 10,000 more than Geelong’s average attendance v’s WCE since 1991. Only 10,000 less than Geelong’s MCG final v.’s Fremantle. It would also be Geelong’s 7th biggest crowd this year (in a season when they’re a game clear on top).Good luck expecting 30K. 25K will see it out Hawthorn fans are known band wagoners and are starting to drop off already.
Cats average ground size since 1991: ~25k compared to Hawthorn: ~75k31k today is 10,000 more than Geelong’s average attendance v’s WCE since 1991
At the MCG, it would be our lowest, and by quite some margin. It would also be Geelong’s 7th biggest crowd this year
Thats a good result against the Suns who would have very few supporters in Sydney.26194 at scg for swans Vs Suns
Perhaps because you've played Collingwood, Essendon, Hawthorn and Richmond at the MCG?At the MCG, it would be our lowest, and by quite some margin.
Our only home game so far in 2019 at the MCG was Essendon. The others don't count as they were away games.Perhaps because you've played Collingwood, Essendon, Hawthorn and Richmond at the MCG?
Well why did you refer to those games then? Our only home game so far in 2019 at the MCG was Essendon. The others don't count as they were away games.

Why don't we compare % ground filled
Geelong

Home Capacity: 5x KP (34k) + 1x MCG (100k) = 270k
% Filled: 77.2%
Hawthorn

We have played one less home game than you, have had ~35k more people attend our home games, and our home ground is a 1/3 the capacity of yours.Lol ground percentage filled
