Very much a hassle. Any ideas on how to get the first pick of tomorrow night?

Wonder if we could tempt Brisbane, Port or Adelaide to gamble their future first round pick with one of our future first round pick (either ours or the one linked to Melbourne) with the idea that gamble a upgrade.

Say we did:

Out: Future 1st & Pick 47
In: Port Adelaide Future 1st & Pick 22.

Or

Out: Future 1st & Pick 47
In: Brisbane Future 1st and Pick 23

We take a bit of a risk but pounce on Devon Robertson, maintain 2 first round picks next year and still have 28,29,32 to come.

Not a hassle, we have 3 picks tomorrow, plenty of talent left on the page.

True. I was thinking, Wow, great get. Then he traded picks for Philp who was likely to be later. He moved forward two spots to get him, but gave up later picks. Unless he isnt using it, stupid move IMO.
Tigers were going to take Philps. They ended up taking Dow when Philps was gone.

I think the Crows will trade up to Ports pick to grab Robertson. They are looking at mids and they have the currency to move up.

Heres my guess as to how our top 3 selections are looking.

22(ADE)-Roberetson
23(BRI)-Rivers
24(PA)-Bianco
25(HAW)-Maginness
26(ADE)-Rantall
27(GEE)-Sharp
28(SYD)-Schoenberg
29(NM)-Gould
30(NM)-Taylor

31(MEL)-Worrell
32(BRI)-Taheny
33(NM)-Ralphsmith

If Gold Coast didnt get their priority pick Green was being considered for number 1, they did get it though and now Anderson is a walk in pick 2 as he is mates with Rowell and they want to make sure they dont walk out in 2 years time. The fact Green is no longer in the conversation for pick 3 is baffling and Jackson while a good pickup is nowhere near pick 3, some phantoms i have seen have him outside the top 10, granted he wouldnt get past Freos picks where he was ALWAYS going to be picked, now hes all but locked in at 3, its bizarre. Gawn has 5-6 more years left in him easily, id say the Dees midfield is a more pressing concern for them. Jackson has also played predominantly ruck, this talk of turning him into a forward is another pet peeve of mine, stop playing players out of their natural positions and you wont end up ruining them!!
He has played as a forward in the WAFL. He is a very mobile ruck, great pick up from Melbourne.

Would our worst case scenario tomorrow night be the first 6 picks of R2 playing out like this:

22 port robertson
23 bris rivers
24 adel gould
25 adel schoenberg
26 geel worrell
27 syd bianco

No cos we would take Taylor and Sharp/Rantall then at 28 and 29

plenty on the board still of quality, reckon the draft will go good til pick 40

then take Harry Jones as a KPP at 32

Two day draft... AFL, you never cease to be an annoying little sh*t of an organisation. Call me tomorrow when it is all done.

Would leave us with sharp Rantall and then Ralphsmith as the third id say
