Time to fire this one up gents.

Noah Anderson is the athletic midfield beast we are craving.

It would be like giving chocolates to a pig without regime change.

Given the baby and the bathwater are both out the window after the weekends result I would be disappointed if we went the free agent route rather than the best possible youth.

Why not both?

I wouldn't slam the door in Astbury's, Elliott's, Buntine/Coniglio/Tomlinson's face.

Yeah just overreacting, if I was the list management team I'd put whatever we have in the coffers for Kelly in front of Josh and Coniglio and give it to whoever jumps first. Also after the weekend some decent KPP's have to be on the cards

That list is FA's mate, not RFA's.

AFL Draft 2019: Pick 1, top 10 prospects, order, AFL Draft Watch, Noah Anderson, Finn Maginness

Finn Maginness, Noah Anderson and Matthew Rowell starred in Round 1 of the NAB League.

The newly re-formed NAB League kicked off with a bang over the weekend as a number of draft prospects started their 2019 in exceptional form.
But none-so more than a son of a dual premiership Hawk, who dominated Round 1 with a four-goal haul from the midfield.
All that and more in this weekend’s under 18 eye-catchers.

On paper, Oakleigh Chargers appear to be the strongest team in the NAB League with a number of top draft prospects.
As things currently stand, they could house the first four Victorian draftees, with Noah Anderson, Trent Bianco, Matthew Rowell and Dylan Williams all plying their trade at the Chargers as the contend for the No. 1 pick.

Anderson is the son of former Hawk and Saint Dean, with Noah’s father playing 150 AFL games. Unfortunately for both Hawthorn and St Kilda, Anderson isn’t eligible for either club as a father-son prospect because his father played 83 games for Hawthorn and 67 games for St Kilda, falling short of the 100 game mark required.
Anderson was one of the clear standouts in the first round of the NAB League, collecting 26 disposals, six inside 50s, five clearances and booting four goals.

The 190 centimetre midfielder booted an outstanding goal during the opening term, weaving through multiple players as he ran towards goal, slotting the chance from 30 metres out.
But the news is somewhat better for Hawks fans, with Finn Maginness, the son of Scott, having collected 23 disposals, seven tackles and six inside 50s in the Sandringham Dragons win over Calder Cannons. Scott played 131 games for the Hawks, meaning Finn can join the club at the end

Bianco showed his class throughout the four quarters, collecting 22 disposals and three clearances, while Rowell was again strong in the midfield as he collected 21 disposals, five tackles and four clearances. Rowell was awarded best-on-ground honours in the 2018 TAC Cup Grand Final, where he dominated despite the Chargers’ loss.
Williams played more of a role up the ground rather than as a deep forward, collecting 19 disposals, six inside 50s, five clearances and booting a goal.

Anderson is a freak.

May be an even better version of Jayden Stephenson.

Averaging 32.5 touches and 3.2 goals in the first 2 rounds of the NAB League.

Yeah. Been touted as a possible number one in this draft for about 3 years. Quality insight.
