Hard to do given so many bottom-agers are played forward/back in their bottom-age year while some progress to the midfield in their top-age year. Likewise several players like Delahunty and Kemp can play either end.

Team Riewoldt:

B: Brock Smith - Charlie Dean - Lachlan Ash
HB: Trent Bianco - Brodie Kemp - Deven Robertson
C: Darcey Chirgwin - Dylan Stephens - Mitch O'Neill
HF: Connor Budarick - Liam Delahunty - Dylan Williams
F: Rhai Arn Cox - Sam Flanders - Josh Rayner
R: Luke Jackson - Tom Green - Noah Anderson
INT: Andrew Courtney - Jackson Mead - Jack Mahony - Malcolm Rosas - Kysaiah Pickett - Josh Worrell

Team Bartel:

B: Jeremy Sharp - Jack Buller - Karl Finlay
HB: Lachlan Potter - Will Gould - Ryan Gardner
C: Matt Rowell - Caleb Serong - Hugo Ralphsmith
HF: Darcy Cassar - Fisher McAsey - Cameron Taheny
F: Mitchell Georgiades - Emerson Jeka - Elijah Taylor
R: Bigoa Nyuon - Hayden Young - Cooper Stephens
INT: Hewago Paul Oea - Will Chandler - Trent Rivers - Jack Bell - Flynn Perez - Will Martyn

Just a guess...

Seen Matty Rowell since he played bottom age Vic 12s. He is a star. Bottom aged Vic 15s kicked 5 in the grand final. Robbed of best player in the 15s (top age) national carnival. Clear stand out. He is tracking as well a any kid I have ever seen. He must start in the middle. If he was not at Oakleigh, he would be 'the man' in any tac team this year.

i think he is on track to be top 5 draft pick in 2019
Yeah I agree I’ve been watching him all year and I honestly believe he’s a chance for the number 1 pick next year, under age aliies and average 23 disposals kicking at 75% and made all Australian as a bottom ager

Of course.

Cam Taheny is the best forward named from either side. Will Gould would be the best KPD in this year’s draft. And Karl Finlay is as good an intercept mark as anyone.

Can Gould be considered KP for the draft at only 190cm? Or is he good enough that his height doesn’t play a factor on his position?

if you see his body type you'll understand that he is a KPP, 190cm is perfect for a KPP, i dont understand the obsession with 200cm unco KPP's?(some are good and some are not), 190-195cm is tall enough that you're a danger in the air and agile enough to be competitive at ground level, then all you need is to fill out.

Roughead is 193cm is he tall enough to be a KPP? Gould has a similar physical build to Steven May (oh look Steven May is 190cm).

Hopefully Tehany has a day out. He can be on all day, kick 8 and no one can get near him. He can play forward, back and wing (thats where I have seen him getting played from time to time).
He can flash in and out for periods, or not turn up.
Dead eye dick with his goal kicking, very strong lead out mark (reminds me a bit of Gunston, but more tricks and ability to play different positions)
Also really looking forward to Picketts game. Has some crazy evasive skills, tons of talent and kicks goals.

A more specific example may be in one of the northern academy's they have 4 forward mids. The first one in 8 rep matches kicked 13 goals. The second and third ones (who have brothers in the afl system) averaged over 20 possessions in these games. The last one (with an exotic background) kicked two goals and averaged in the low teens in these games. Guess who got selected?
Why don’t you just say Gold Coasts academy and Ace is from New Guinea.

My point and note my kid is in a different Academy is that I am all for multiculturalism in AFL but you can't penalise the kids that have earnt their spots with better performances. Crossely got 27 possessions v Vic Country (more than double anyone else) , a former perth boy Gore kicked 5 v NT, 4 v NSW and 5 goals at NEAFL level , Joyce 23 possessions v NSW and Tom Jeffery 22 possessions 2 goals v NSW , what type of message is being sent to these kids.

When the teams were announced Qld best player Connor Budarick wasn't even used as the Qld kid to promote the futures game. A lot of talented kids in this state have fallen by the wayside as it's not an even playing field.
You seem surprised like this is a new concept. It’s been happening for ages.

that would be my top 30 for 2019, i have had limited viewing on interstate players other than the championships and in Taheny's case highlights, so im sure theres a few interstaters that will push out a Vic or 2 next year, but this is my estimate of the top 30 talent for 2019...

some that got close Mitch Martin(GWV), Ryan Byrnes(Sand), Riley Baldi(gipps), Finn Magginess(sand), Lucas Rocci(west), Trent Bianco(oak)

Hey guys,

Just wondering if anyone can give us some insight into the bulldogs father son prospects for next year- Joshua Kellett, Oliver Liberatore, Tyler Kolyniuk and Daniel Romero.

Have heard that Liber jnr the 2nd and Kellet have shown promise but not sure where they sit with the rest of the cohort at this stage.

Thanks
