just waiting on team announcements, but a bit worried about later playing teams cos I don't know if I'll have the time to keep up with the rolling lockout.

But this is what I'm gonna roll with

Think this is a great team all bar your forward line. Think you need to find some coin to get Parker off the field. I realise that's so much easier said than done though and I suppose you have to take a risk somewhere

It's been a problem for me all pre season.....Do I go with 3 ' set n forget premos' or downgrade to a couple of mid pricers like Higgins and Worpel to strengthen F4? End of the day gone with guns n rooks (but gonna do the dance if rooks aren't named)

I reckon go with the Guns and rooks. Petrucelle should be good to dance for a couple of weeks at least. Forward line will need to be your number 1 upgrade target though

Rocky or Sloane? From a crows supporter I'm leaning toward Rocky as Sloane can be susceptible to a tag...but Rocky has lost almost all my faith.

Either. Rocky had an interrupted preseason last year and was carrying injuries all season. He has plenty of upside if he can get back to 2014/15 numbers but perhaps lacks consistency. Scored 178 against North...

Sloane is underpriced and is perhaps more consistent. That's a tough one though.

Sloane is the definition of a yo-yo...

Biting the bullet and really going away from the traditional Guns and Rookies which I normally run with.

Backline is quite weak, but overall I’m trying to lock in the rookies I think have the best scoring potential over all positions, along with mid pricers that I feel are priced well under what they can deliver.

DEF - Lloyd, Williams, Smith, Ridley, Duursma, Clarke (Scrimshaw, Burgess)

MID - Macrae, Coniglio, Brayshaw, B.Crouch, Sheed, Liberatore, Walsh, Cousins (Constable, Scott)

RUCK - Grundy, Gawn (A.Smith, Fort)

FWD - Dangerfield, Dunkley, Worpel, Elliot, Setterfield, Drew (Parker, Petruccelle).

Got exactly the same backline. Have to wait to see who makes it round 1 but they do look the most secure for 65+ scores. Do like having a Scrimshaw on the bench for a bit more security. I've gone more guns/rooks with the rest (bar Gawn -> Jacobs) but don't mind what you've done, they all look fairly safe.

Very similar side to mine, 4 different players on field & 1 on bench.

Great side!

Sticking with guns and rookies strategy for the time being:

Back: Whitfield, K Simpson, Witherden, Clark, Duursma, Scrimshaw (Hore, Burgess)

Mid: Coniglio, Treloar, Cripps, Z Merrett, B Crouch, S Walsh, C Constable, M Gibbons (Hind, Scott)

Ruck: Grundy, Gawn (Fort, Xerri)

Fwd: Dangerfield, Dunkley, Heeney, Setterfield, Drew, Petruccelle (Balta, Parker)

Not sold on the forward line but will need to seriously change the team structure if I was to go with more mid pricers (45k left)

Usually a Supercoacher but will give Fantasy a crack this year.

DEF | L.Whitfield ~ A.Witherden ~ Z.Williams ~ J.Ridley ~ J.Clark ~ X.Duursma | Hore & Scrimshaw

MID | S.Coniglio ~ A.Brayshaw ~ A.Treloar ~ J.Steele ~ B.Crouch ~ T.Liberatore ~ J.Cousins ~ S.Walsh | Constable & Gibbons

RUCK | M.Gawn ~ S.Lycett | Fort & Schlensog

FWD | P.Dangerfield ~ J.Billings ~ M.Wallis ~ J.Worpel ~ W.Setterfield ~ M.Parker | Burgess & Petruccelle

Am i on the right track..!?

So this is what I'm going for at the moment but no doubt when round 1 teams roll out I will change it all.

DEF: Whitfield, Crisp, Smith, Williams, Ridley, Clark (Burgess, Hore)

MID: Coniglio, Treloar, M.Crouch, Sheed, B.Crouch, Liberators, Walsh, Scott (Constable, Gibbons)

RUCK: Gawn, Goldstein (Xerri, Fort)

FWD: Dangerfield, Boak, Billings, Worpel, Setterfield, Drew (Petruccelle, Parker)

I am contemplating downgrading Crisp to Mills to then either put Sheed up to Rockliff and hope he's a keeper again or fix up the bench rookies.

You sure that's your team? I had a go replicating it and went over the cap..
