Well i did smile and put up a silly GIF. Not sure how i was being shitty exactly. Just teasing you right back
Hey guys,
At the moment I’m running with Newman as D4.
I’m tempted to downgrade him (his 29 from 76% TOG was the killer) but at the same time, you can’t ever really judge on JLT games and I think he will rack it up in Carlton.
I’m also running with English as R2 which I can see a lot of people have jumped off this bandwagon.
What is everyone thoughts on me downgrading Newman and then upgrading English? Cheers
Don’t have Williams, have Smith. It’s a hard decision, I also wanted McGrath from when I first started making my team but downgraded him to free up some extra $$ for my midfield. HmmI don't think you can get rid of him on the basis of pre-season, if you backed him you should stick with that IMO.
Who would you downgrade him to? If you don't have Williams or Brodie Smith then would do that but otherwise not a lot in the midpricer/rookie end of things unfortunately.
If you want to take a risk on a richmond player Higgins is your man, kid had massive junior numbers and is touted to be a future midfield gun. Im personally not on eitherWhat are people’s thoughts on Willie Rioli? Second year, priced at an average of 54, so a true mid pricer.
Primed to play a bit more midfield, high half forward and I think easily improve on that average by at least 20pts.
In great nick and scored 120 in the second JLT.
This Rioli is the Eagles version. If you want to take a risk on a richmond player Higgins is your man, kid had massive junior numbers and is touted to be a future midfield gun. Im personally not on either
Do you reckon they make it intentionally bad so it's worse that their own teams? No way an intelligent fantasy player runs Dusty and a three rookie forward line this year? The Traders post-JLT team for anyone interested.

Yes. None of the 3 had Dusty in their tour team revealsDo you reckon they make it intentionally bad so it's worse that their own teams? No way an intelligent fantasy player runs Dusty and a three rookie forward line this year?
Today's play around seals the rucks but weakened fwd, mid & defence to get from
Lobb to Gawn
(Or English to Gawn)
Leaving the side was Ridley, Cousins & Elliot to cheaper but secure rookies so still some cash generation. Gets some of the big names.
Sheed is in but only to bridge the gap to Cripps who I had in place of Coniglio. Just need Sheed to start well. I'd bet on an EOY AVG of sub95 though.
Definitely.Do you reckon they make it intentionally bad so it's worse that their own teams? No way an intelligent fantasy player runs Dusty and a three rookie forward line this year?
It's what id do as well if I was in their shoes. Any choice they make becomes popularDefinitely.
I reckon they fill it with fantasy populars to keep the part timers away from the coveted selections.

If you've got Newman at D4 you're batting deep in DEF! Not that its a bad thing, but it may unbalance the rest of your side?Hey guys,

No love for beams
Plus he was hampered by injury and depression (article on afl.com.au). It was his lowest season average since 2012. I see him as a 102-107 average player, so he comes in underpriced. To be fair, Dusty averaged 113.6 the year before - that's more than Cogs, Cripps, Brayshaw etc. Obviously the premiership hangover + being trialled up forward really hurt his scoring last year. Richmond had their best year, winning the flag and the brownlow with Dusty playing as a mid. Perhaps the coach will recognise this and move him back? With Lynch joining the forward line there's a good chance of this happening. Dusty is potentially a bargain priced at 92. He never misses a game and I can't see him averaging much less than that.
That said, I probably won't start him as there's a few other players I like that are less of a tag risk.
Beams is obviously a very good player. He's priced at 105. How much better do you see him going at Collingwood, which has arguably the best midfield in the competition, compared to Brisbane?
