A few articles released in the last couple of days that Mumford is looking to play on next year in a modified role as per Tiger71 comments on the Podcast last night.

This pretty much shatters every opposition supporters hope of him belting the crap out of our players in one last send off.

im fairly confident if mummy tried that sh1t with anyone

lynch/nank would lift him over their head and break his back over his damn knee

It’s the first quarter and a bit after a bye that we struggle it seems.

Bye 1:
- 42-19 against St Kilda in early 2nd quarter

Bye 2:
- 4.6 (30) to 3.0 (18) against Brisbane In he first quarter

Bye 3:
- 50-29 half time against Geelong in the PF.

Only game outside of the ones following the bye that we started crap was the West Coast game. We seem to be a little slow coming off byes this year.
And that was the point I was making about this week's game; no bye this time.

Well I'm looking forward to flag number 12 but don't want to get too cocky. Unfortunately any team can beat any other team on any given day... but that said I'm quietly confident that we can hold the cup high again on Saturday arvo.
Let them play Davis, Cogs and Lids(?) as we've learnt our lesson and will not be taking any players less than 100% into the GF.
As others have mentioned need to quell their ball usage from the centre as we can't have them hitting Cameron lace out too many times.
I think we have too much talent, pressure, experience and yellow and black to let them get a sniff.
Jack to kick 4, Dusty to do dusty things, our back six shutting down their fwd line and the team being too f**ing good for them.

Phark it - we win by 10 goals, going away, with cotch holding the norm smith and me with a huge grin (and hangover on Sunday) :D

GWS uses their talls as pinch hit rucks.
Too much to expect Soldo to ruck on his own.
Nank should play.
If Graham is not in prime condition, I would probably select Pickett.
He is a large lad and can lay heavy tackles, Nank can too, on players like Kelly.
Pickett can also break away.
Kelly is their key midfield driver, a playmaker.
Target Kelly and I would imagine the other mids, Williams, Taranto will lose morale.

If coniglio plays id be interested to see what they do..

does williams go back to half back? ... does cogs play in the forward line and pinch hit in the midfield?

very interesting

surely they do a run of grand final patches that can be ironed on.
i know they do put out the celebration one with premiers on it for the winning team, but the actual game day patch would be nice also.

Oh god Razor Ray hey.

Wonder what lengths he will go to, to be the main story come the final siren.
Might work in our favour.
Pies thought they just had to turn up last week.
Plastics will think the same with Razor being gifted a game.

Mate Dusty standing in the goal square one out with no-one else within 50 metres is Leon Camerons's worst nightmare. This is the ace in the pack, simple, effective and expected.
in 2005 we had Terrys triangle with Stafford, Richo and Troy Simmonds as our embedded key targets... now we got Dusty, Tommy and Jacky boy... wow, if our midfield fire up and we get our swarm going it's gunna be a belter.
